I'm not a terribly experienced skater, I am self-taught with the occasional advice of fellow skaters and a couple experienced friends. However with practice and my own skates I have acquired the skill to skate backward, honestly faster backward than forward. Lol. As someone who doesn't know as much as I could about skating I can't rate quality compared to other skates. However I can say that they beat renting skates any day, and it did have one pair that I got used and they worked great but when I found these I was in love, they are comfortable they're easily adjustable very stylish and makes skating very enjoyable without the hassle of rented, used or low quality skates in my opinion. ... show more
