  • Wanted to love it.
Color: White Style: KONE Pro Air
The mouse checked all thing things on paper. Wireless with 2.4 and Bluetooth, Ergo shape, Light in weight, Decent looks and Quality build. But after a week of using it, the negatives outweighed the positives. Wireless started stuttering, as a gaming mouse that makes it unusable for gaming. Why buy a wireless mouse to use it with the usb cable attached? Scroll wheel has a weird thing where if you keep scrolling down a page it might go up a notch in the midst of going down and it happens every 4-5 scrolls. Its very disturbing for those that like scrolling webpages or between items in a game. The buttons are clicky, but seems to be less snappy than those of Razer. Not too big of an issue its something you can get used to. Software: Swarm could be the problem. Everytime the mouse starts stuttering the Swarm software also hangs up with a loading/buffering screen which is weird. In the end, needed to return this. ... show more

  • Don't buy this right now
Color: Black Style: KONE Pro
Owned it for a month or so, scroll wheel was occasionally moving in the opposite direction I was scrolling. Based on the other number of reviews stating the same this may be a design defect. Hopefully the replacement will be good, but for how long I've owned it I deserve new, not refurbished. Really disappointed in Roccat right now. EDIT: Replacement arrived pretty fast. Roccat support experience was definitely not bad. Will be super aware of any potential scroll issue. Will update this review accordingly. ... show more

  • Bye bye Deathadder, hello Kone (EDITED)
Color: Black Style: KONE Pro Air
I've been using the Razer Deathadder Elite for the last several years (at home and in the office). The Roccat Kone Air feels like the next iteration of the Deathadder. Light, smooth, and more comfy than the Razer. EDIT: after using it for a day, the scrolling wheel became extremely stiff to press, making it unusable. ... show more

  • Scroll Wheel Issues
Color: Black Style: KONE Pro Air
This mouse is fantastic. It's super light weight, battery easily lasts me a week with moderate gaming, and it fits my hand perfectly. There is however one big issue I've been having and it's the scroll wheel. The first mouse I received lasted about 3 days until the scroll wheel began to give me problems. I returned that mouse and received a new one, and now 2 weeks after using the second mouse I'm getting the same scroll wheel issues again. I'm not sure why, but sometimes when I'm scrolling up, the mouse will glitch and scroll down. This also happens when scrolling down, the mouse will glitch and briefly scroll up. This causes an issue when scrolling down a webpage, you end up fighting the mouse because it keeps glitching and scrolling up. It's also a huge issue if you use the scroll wheel for example to switch weapons in a video game. You go to scroll to a specific weapon, and you end up with the wrong one which can put you in bad situations. I do really love this mouse, but am contemplating if I want to try a third one or just refund and go with a different brand. ... show more

  • Mouse scroll wheel doesn't work
Color: Black Style: KONE Pro Air
When scrolling down, the scroll wheel will randomly scroll up, and vice versa. After googling my issue I found many similar posts/reviews having the same problem. For a $130 mouse, this should never be an issue. I will be asking for a full refund and recommend others to try a different manufacturer.

  • One of the most comfortable ergo shapes I've tried
Color: White Style: KONE Pro Air
TLDR: Try this mouse if you're looking for an alternative to the GPX shape. Pros: - Very unique shape that fits your hand like a glove - Lightweight wireless (self explanatory) - Very smooth operating mouse wheel with defined steps, and easy to click - Very good quality stock feet (PSA: REMOVE THE BLUE FILM) - USB Type C port on the front - Solid battery life (especially with RGB off) - Fantastic coating that maximizes grip and doesn't leave residue (speaking for the white version) - Software that gives very good control over the mouse, and useful information including a system tray battery status. - Bluetooth functionality - Very nice and flexible charging cable - Sensor based off the Pixart 3370 Cons: - No included USB-C to A dongle adapter for the cable (though to get around this, I am using the one included with the Glorious Model-O Wireless mouse and it works perfectly) - The charging port is recessed a little too far making it kind of a pain to remove the cable (although if you need to use it wired, it's one of the most solidly seated detachable cables) - Buttons 1 and 2 feel sort of creaky, but not quite as mushy as most opticals Thoughts: If you've been waiting for a good light weight, wireless, ergo mouse, then you need to give this one a try. Roccat hasn't ever really been on my radar for peripherals, but this one had me intrigued. The shape looked a little odd, but attractive like I've seen it before on a mouse that I liked in the past. I would describe the shape as a hybrid between a refined Rival 300 for the ring, pinky, and mouse 1 and 2 (but shorter), a little bit of a G502 around the thumb, and the back kind of like a EC-2 with the hump farther forward. It all comes together to make for one of the better mouse shapes I've placed my hand on. The shape makes you grip it the same way every time without forcing any fingers into uncomfortable or awkward positions. It just feels right. The mouse wheel feels really good and is easy to click. The side buttons are nice and big, and are easy to hit. The main mouse buttons are okay, but they feel like they have a little creakiness to them that's kind of off putting. So far, the best optical switches (or really good for any switch for that matter) goes to the Steelseries Prime. Those buttons are very snappy, and the internal design seems like they should keep their consistency pretty much forever. I really hope those get copied and implemented by other brands. The stock feet are very good also. They're very close to the quality of hyperglide, tiger: ice, or at the very least corepadz. You really shouldn't need to get aftermarket ones right away. I made that PSA in the pros and cons section because I have seen multiple people praise or criticize the glide with the protective blue film on. So if you get one, please make sure to peel those off. My only complaints about the mouse right now are its lack of an included adapter for the wireless dongle to connect to the charging cable (which is a very nice little doodad included with most other wireless mice). And the charging port on the mouse being recessed too far. When the cable is in, it feels very solidly in place like a wired mouse, but it makes it a bit of a pain to remove. I'm afraid I'm going to put too much pressure on buttons 1&2 and damage them over time or something. Aside from those 2 issues, I have no other complaints right now. If anything changes, I will update the review with important stuff noted at the top. Conclusion: This is a really nice mouse. I would recommend trying it if a GPW's shape is a bit too eggy for your liking. ... show more

  • Just fantastic all around
Color: Black Style: KONE Pro Air
Listen, I don't bother to write reviews often, but here I am. I am SUPER picky about my mouse choice, purchase many, and often disappointed. The last mouse I had that I truly appreciated was a Logitech G302. After it died, I tried several options, and was disappointed over and over from the "best" mice out there. This mouse is just fantastic, nothing insane, no over the top features that get in my way. Everything feels good. The slide over my mouse pad, the clicks, the wheels, the feel in the hand, and most importantly, the WEIGHT. Hopefully it lasts a long while, haven't had it long enough to vouch for that, but the initial impression from a super picky mouse guy is just absolutely great. ... show more
