  • Affordable, High quality & Made on The Sunshine State on Florida!!!
Style: Aqua Size: 10 FT
Very sturdy, I really dig the fact it comes with 2 paddles so the sup becomes kinda like a hybrid…I strapped down one of those low sitting beach chairs I had sitting around & it works like a charm as a sit down or stand up SUP. Easy to Balance, easy to inflate & super light to carry ~ 18lbs. I dig how easy it is to use and put in the water! Great price too! You won't be disappointed. Buy it Pals! ... show more

  • ROC ISUP Review
Style: Aqua Size: 10 FT
I was first introduced to stand up paddle boarding about a year ago. I enjoyed the boating aspect but also like the requirement for good balance. Having spent time kayaking and canoeing, SUP seemed like a nice change up. A few months later, while camping with some friend, I had a chance to use their paddle boards. I hadn’t realized that their SUP boards were inflatable. The boards were so rigid and stiff, it didn’t seem like what I would have envisioned as something inflatable. ISUPs struck me as an excellent idea. So I began researching something I could get for my camper for trips by the water. I also envisioned throwing the ISUP on the back of my motorcycle. A double adventure: riding and paddling – something I thought I would never be able to do. There are so many boards out there. The prices range from low to high. I really didn’t know what to expect comparing a very expensive board (>$1000) to something inexpensive(<$300). After pouring through numerous websites – some useful, some little more than a random aggregation of a robot’s search of paddleboards – and tons of Amazon reviews I came down to selecting the ROC ISUP. The reviews were pretty good. The price was reasonable. And it was available. So many of the Amazon selections were unavailable or back-ordered for several weeks. I like the multi-layer design of the board as durability was high on my list of requirements. And I like how it was lighter than a lot of other comparable boards. The board came quickly and was packaged as advertised. I did a quick test run in our little pond. It wasn’t too bad to pump up and assemble. I like that the package had everything I needed and it all fit in the one bag. Encouraged I scheduled a trip to take the board out on some tidal estuaries I like to visit. And I planned to do it on my motorcycle. Everything fit easily in the supplied ROC travel bag. It isn’t terribly heavy, but I am not sure how long I would want to carry it on my back - say for a hike to some remote lake. As to putting it on the back of my motorcycle, it fit pretty nicely across my passenger seat and didn’t seem to affect the balance. The bag appears durable enough. And it survived my trip without incident. I arrived at my destination some 300 miles later and unpacked everything. Real world conditions can be much rougher and I would be seeing how well (durability) the board held up. I didn’t baby it, but I did try to be careful. I rolled it out and pumped it up in a gravel parking lot. No issues and it didn’t seem to be bothered by the rocks. During my outing on the water I avoided oyster and clam beds as those would be sure to tear up the board. Fortunately there are not many of those in this particular area. However, there was plenty of opportunity to drag it through tidal mud banks and it didn’t seem to have any problems. My biggest fear was it getting damaged and leaking leaving me to slog back to the boat dock. I am happy to say that it didn’t happen and I feel pretty confident it would take some serious abuse to cause a leak. I like the top area where you stand. It gives nice traction. But on the down side, it will capture dirt and hold on to it. Tidal mud flats have very fine mud and even after hosing off the board there is still a little staining (see picture of board in the grass.) That doesn’t bother me. I intend to use the board and that is just going to happen. I like the multiple D rings and the bungee hold down in front. Useful for holding my pack and ropes and gear. The paddle works fine and seem sturdy. I like how it breaks down for storage and transport. The little dry bag is useful for small stuff and kept the items dry. Reading some of the older reviews, it looked like the pump to board interface might be problematic. But it looks like ROC listened to the reviews and redesigned the connection. It was a simple twist on connection just like the cover for the inflation port. Very easy to use. I am happy with the purchase. Time will tell how well everything holds up but I am encouraged after 1 outing. I will try to get back to this review in a year or so and give an update. ... show more

  • Definitely worth buying!
Style: Oceans Size: 10 FT
Bought two of these to paddle around on. They worked great. Easy transport, easy to inflate and set up. Paddles are easily adjustable and easy to convert to 'kayak style' if you want to do that. Stable. Seem pretty sturdy. Very peaceful to paddle around in the morning watching for dolphins as the sun came up. Would definitely recommend with no reservation. ... show more

  • A better kayak than our kayak
Last week we spent three days on an alpine lake with 1) a new Sea Eagle 370 Pro 3-person inflatable kayak and 2) a new ROC stand up paddleboard. We had other toys too, but these were by far the most highly sought-after items. With 9 kids in two families, there weren't very many moments when both craft weren't on the water, but in the few hours that there was one on the beach, it was the kayak left behind, not the SUP. The kids would take out the ROC SUP, with a kayak seat hooked onto the D rings, and either sit, kneel, or stand, or sometimes all three. Parents had to wake up pretty early to get any SUP time at all. Some of the best features: 1. We inflated it once to 14 PSI, and it stayed exactly at 14 PSI until we let the air out four days later. 2. It only has one inflation valve, vs five different valves for the floor, sides, and bow and stern covers for the kayak. 3. It was widly stable. Now, this was a lake and at most we had some mild chop from the powerboats and afternoon wind, but the SUP never felt unstable to anyone. Your experience on the open ocean may be entirely different; we haven't tried it. 4. It stood up to being dragged along rocks and gravelly sand with just a few marks. I tried, really tried, to get the kids to be careful putting it into the water and pulling it onto the beach, but my version of careful and their version of careful is pretty different. For three days of heavy use, and dozens of water-to-shore-transitions, it still looks pretty darn good. 5. It was super easy to fill and even easier to deflate. The littler kids wanted to fill it first, so we let them try the included hand pump, but they got tired. My 13-year-old did the major pumping in about ten minutes. 6. It fits in the bag with plenty of space. I'm not so sure the bag will hold up for years--it's pretty lightweight--but wipe off the SUP, roll it up, and pop it into the bag with the paddles and it's easy to carry without any cramming. During our three days, the kids probably spent more time sitting on it than standing, but in the second half they did a lot of standing as well. I'm glad we have both the Sea Eagle kayak and the ROC SUP, but for our uses, if we make another purchase, it will be another of these SUPs, not another kayak. ... show more

  • Affordable, Quality, All in One Package
Style: Aqua Size: 10 FT
Great customer service, post sale to insure product was meeting my needs. Quality product. I researched many brands of SUPs. I chose this one over other boards due to high weight capacity to allow me to paddle with myself and children (8 and 5), and that the wide enough to be stable with them both on board. It also is good solo and not too heavy. I like that it even comes with a three piece paddle that converts to kayak or paddle board. It even comes with a small dry bag for keys or phone, so you do not need anything else to start. Great entry level board and an affordable price to get you out in the water. I think it would even work with my big dog due to the grip and width. ... show more

The carrying bag is made of high quality fabric and makes packing the board away easy and straight forward. The extra accessories such as the dry bag have come in handy. The paddle board itself is built solid and can support the weight of two people easily and comfortably. Overall, great product. ... show more
