Bought a bigger more expensive t-rex with a remote and roared but 3.8 year old boy was not impressed due to how slow it moved. When he saw this one scoot around the hard floor he lost it and finally pulled out the slow one he got for Christmas for an instant battle. This little one may not roar but it is quick to get around and very animated. I only gave this four stars because it didn't do as much as I expected. I thought it was a smaller remote control dinosaur. Instead it's batter operated and runs around wherever it wants. What a cute dinosaur! I bought this toy for my 4 yr old grandson, and he was so excited when he unwrapped it at Christmas. It is just as described with it’s realistic movements and chomping jaws. Even the adults enjoyed watching it stomp across the floor! Very nice toy for the money.
