this is an inexpensive tool for cutting boarder tile (VCT). The cuts are a little rough, but this is covered by the base. If you want clean cuts heat the tile with a heat gun or hair drier.     • **Absolutely Horrible Tile Cutter - Do Not Buy!**
I purchased this tile cutter with the expectation that it would help me smoothly cut tiles for my project. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disaster from start to finish. From the very first attempt, it was clear that this tile cutter was not capable of performing its basic function. It failed to cut through the tiles properly, leaving jagged and uneven edges. Instead of producing clean cuts, it ruined several expensive tiles, rendering them completely unusable. The consequences of this product's failure were severe. Not only did it waste a significant amount of money on ruined tiles, but it also halted my project entirely. I had to spend additional time and money sourcing new tiles and finding a replacement tool. This unexpected setback disrupted my work schedule and caused unnecessary stress. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. This tile cutter is poorly made and does not perform as advertised. It caused more harm than good and turned a straightforward task into a costly and frustrating experience. I strongly advise against buying this product. We bought this to cut thin vinyl tiles, which worked well and seamlessly for our project. Our tiles were thin, and I am unsure how this product will perform with thicker tiles.     • Does an ok job once you get used to its quirks...
Some reviewers and video reviews show people using this tool to cut vinyl plank or laminated and been unsuccessful at doing so. The thing is that this tool is not designed to cut LVP or laminated, it is designed to cut thin (up to 4mm) vinyl tile (the peel and stick types). It is problematic at cutting vinyl tiles though, but it is doable. Once you get around its quirks, it does an ok job at cutting vinyl tiles. ... show more

    • Cuts Very Well !
I have to say, I Tiled the Kitchen the Dining room and our Bathroom using this product and it was a good choice. It made the job so much easier. The only flaw in the product that I can say is, that when you are trying to line up where exactly it is going to cut, it is difficult to see. I did figure it out, but it would be great if they could have an arrow pointing down on the far side just exactly where it would be cut, it would make lining up the exact cuts so much easier. I had to remove the old tile first, which was under kitchen cabinets, I used a utility knife to get as far under the cabinet as possible, then had to cut pieces to fit in the patterns I was using for the area.     • Does not work. Absolutely useless
The media could not be loaded. This product does not work at ALL. I have tiny 2mm flimsy vinyl wall splash tiles and the product does not even come close to cut it. In the pic / video you can see after several tries, it’s just totally mangled the tile. The tile is so thin it can easily be cut with normal scissors — I got this with the hope of more easily making clean & straight-line cuts…will have to trash this and just go back to scissors. Honestly I’m not sure this would even cut paper — it’s wildly dull, very evidently cheap/poorly built, sticks and is difficult to pull the lever, but obviously most importantly it just does not do what it claims to do. ... show more

    • Great for cutting peel and stick tile
Added peel and stick tiles on set of step risers with lots of cuts.This worked very good.Mounted cutter on a piece of 2x6 for stability.Have used a square and utility knife before and using this is much easier,faster and safer.
