  • Pretty nice wagon.
The only problem I had was that the special nut that allows the steering to pivot had a hole that was too small. I drilled it out to 1/2". Not a big deal for me, but a lot of people may not have a 1/2" drill and a 1/2" drill bit. Otherwise: this is replacing a Roadmaster that is over thirty years old, which is why I went with Roadmaster instead of the other brand which is about 30% more money, and they are all made in China unfortunately. Now; if I could only find wheels for the old Roadmaster for less than half the price of a new wagon, I will put the old one back in service. My granddaughters ran the plastic wheels off of the old one. ... show more

  • Great wagon but difficult to assemble
This was very ard for two adults to assemble with a vast assortment of tools at our disposal. In retrospect, I might’ve paid more for something pre assembled!

  • I put it together...
You will need a wrench and hammer- however, I am a skinny 54-yr-old woman and just broke a nail doing it myself. My wagon had been returned and the handle was put together already and I could tell that someone else had given up and returned it- but I persevered. My mom loves it and will use for gardening. ... show more

  • Just one problem
My good utility/garden wagon was stolen a couple of weeks ago and they now cost $100.00. I no longer need a heavy duty one so I bought this for the light gardening work that is left after 10 years of heavy duty work. I wasn't expecting much from this $60.00 wagon but was pleasantly surprised by the gauge of steel and the overall design. The reason I cut my review down to 4 instead of 5 stars is that there is one problem which created a headache and ended up requiring two hours to assemble. Amongst the bolts is one that is twice as large as all the others. It is a 3/8th bolt with special threads and constitutes the pivot point for the front wheel assembly. It has a special rectangular nut (1-1/2 long by 1/2 wide). The nut has a lip on one side and that lip is supposed to extend up through a whole in the front wheel mount. The problem is that the outside diameter of the lip is wider than the inside lip of the hole it is supposed to fit inside of. I tried filing the lip down to make it narrower but that didn't work. I eventually had to give up on using that bolt/nut combination and go to my workshop and get a longer bolt that had enough length so that I could double-nut it. The tension needs to be just right so that it the front wheel assembly will turn but not be loose and wobbly. It also call for grease between the surfaces of the parts involved, and they do not supply any. Another trip to my workshop. I see that others have complained about a lack of lock-washers. The truth is that some bolts have them and some don't. So, another trip to my workshop. When I finally got the whole thing assembled, however, I was pleased. I was a journeyman sheet metal worker for ten years so the problem is not lack of experience in working with mechanical things. While I'm glad with my results, I don't see how the average guy with limited mechanical know-how would be as pleased. So, for me, I rate it 4 because I like what I ended up with. But for others, hmmm. ... show more
