If you're picking up this lip oil in cherry, despite the bright hue, don't expect anything other than a clear gloss. I didn't see any color at all on my lips from this. While not a huge deal, given how bright the color looks in the tube I expected something. The tube is clear which is nice because you can see both the color and how much you have left. The applicator works well to apply the product, but I think it might be a little too big for the opening because you have to really work to pull it out. When it did pop out for me, a little of the gloss went flying onto my hand so it has the potential to get messy. I'm not sure why the brush isn't a little smaller or the opening isn't a little larger to make application easier. I wouldn't really call this a lip oil, as it is pretty thick and a bit sticky. This isn't a big deal to me, because this is actually the consistency I prefer in a gloss because I think it has more staying power. I noticed a slight tingle right after first applying it, and maybe there was a slight plumping of my lips but that could also just be in my head. The gloss did feel good and hydrating on my lips, and it lasted a long time. I even had some fruit and drank after applying it and there was a good amount still left on my lips. Overall if you're looking for moisture and staying power this is your gloss. If you're looking for a color that shows up as anything other than clear this probably won't be what you're looking for.

If you are thinking this seems like a lip gloss, it is not. This lip oil is thick and a little sticky/tacky when applied, but it is so moisturizing. It also lasts a lot longer than lip gloss, which is a plus. The oil looks like there is a lot of color to it in the bottle, but it goes on sheer with only a light tint. I have been using the oil both by itself and over lipstick. The scent is fantastic! I got the cherry oil and, this will sound a bit odd, the smell reminds me of Christmas! I can't quite tell you why, but it does. Best of all, the price is great, worth every penny.

I am really enjoying this lip oil. It is thicker than most lip glosses and has a slight minty taste and smell. It makes my lips feel great. The lip gloss appears on the lips as clear even though it appears colored in the tube. I didn’t realize this was a dupe of a designer brand until a family member told me when I pulled it out to use.

This Hydrating Lip Glow Oil had a nice sleek overall look to it but when you twist open the product the oil is a bit thick but nothing wrong with that it surely is more moisturizing on your lips. It didn't have a scent but that's even better for me.

I like the feel of this gloss. It reminds me a little of the roll on lip glosses of my youth, but without he tackiness or the sickly sweet flavor. The orange color threw me off when it arrived but it doesn’t look at all orange when applied. It doesn’t last a long time but it does feel like it moisturizes.

At this price point and if you like the colors, this product is worth a try! It's a great dupe for luxury lip oils, and preforms pretty much as promised. The listing clearly specifies that the color wash is transparent, and I really like the hint of color it leaves on your lips (rosewood is very nice!). It is not terribly sticky, though it is a bit tacky, but moisturizes your lips for quite a long time. It makes your lips look dewy/glowy, and layers on fairly thick - it feels substantial - but I didn't notice a significant plumping effect. The applicator is large and a little bent, so it was somewhat difficult to get out of the bottle - careful not to pull hard and spill out all the oil! - but good for application purposes. It's unscented and there's a slight tingle as you put it on but it ultimately doesn't irritate my lips - quite the opposite in feeling smooth and hydrated. Made in China.

I was skeptical of this one. Its picture shows bright pink and it is NOT that color when it goes on. It gives your lips a LITTLE tint but not much. The oil lasts a long time (longer than any gloss) but it is super sticky and thick. That’s really the only negative because I liked how it looked and how it softened and tinted. The only thing I disliked was the sticky feeling, but that’s in the very nature of the product as an oil/gloss.
