I use these frequently while I lived downtown SF and now in Texas. They can each carry quite a lot of weight. Mine still look mostly new and show no signs of falling apart in 2-3 years of use. My one wish is that the handles had some more protective material. If you load the bags with heavy stuff, the handle material stops laying flat, bunches / folds up, and starts to dig into your hand a bit due to the weight. Overall its not that bad. ... show more

These bags didn't hold 15lb let alone 45lbs. Mine tore on the 1st use. I really liked them, and i needed insulated bags. Living in Southern California, they are a must. These are pretty large bags. I will say, even tho the bag tore, my cold items were still cold until i was able to unpack and put in fridge and freezer. I started a return and was able to receive a credit. Amazon and the seller were great. I gave 3 stars because i really like the bags, they are huge, my food stayed cold, and was able to get a credit. I took off 2 stars because my bag tore, and these bags will not hold 45 lbs, mine tore under 15lbs. ... show more
