I got this just as an accessory for a wedding event. Its simple design makes this something I like, as I don’t care if anything flashy. I like the understated look. A rectangular stone shape and how this ring is designed , also doesn’t take up space in my finger since sometimes I like to wear more than one ring on the same finger. I got this with the pink stone and it complements my olive skin tone. I can’t attest to the longevity regarding the gold plating , as I don’t wear my solid gold jewelry in the shower or when at a pool. It appears to be well made though , I have a pink diamond and solid gold ring that is very similar in design and the appearance of “ quality “ looks the same. The stone is set securely , but also for the rings price point, it wouldn’t be considered a loss in case one of my daughters wears the ring and loses it.
