Yarn: Soft, smooth, tightly twisted, and the colors are even more beautiful than in the pictures!! Canvas: It’s large, with clear and vibrant printed patterns, and the texture feels high-quality. Instructions: Very clear and beginner-friendly. This was my first time trying punch needle, and the step-by-step video tutorial included in the instructions made it super easy to follow. Tools: The hoop is made of plastic (not wood), but it’s sturdy and very practical. I’ve already added a backing to make it into a coaster—it turned out so cute! It’s perfect for relaxing while watching a show and would make a wonderful gift for any craft lover. Highly recommended!

This product is a complete disappointment. The punch needle is too big for the yarn, and the fabric isn’t even the right kind—it's Aida cloth for cross stitch, not punch embroidery, so it doesn’t work at all. On top of that, the yarn has a strong unpleasant smell and sheds everywhere, making my hands itchy. The fabric is stiff with no bounce, so beginners can’t do anything with it. I ended up hand embroidering everything just to make it usable. Definitely not worth the money.

Have never tried Needle punch. Thought this was the perfect starter kit. I am fairly crafty, so wasn’t too worried about learning this new craft. But there is a steep learning curve. The kit does include all the supplies needed to complete coasters. Even a holder for the complete items. With that being said. The instructions are not very comprehensive. Basically it is some simple pictures and very basic sentences. They do recommend viewing a YouTube video that did help. But I was disappointed with no real tips on what to do to be successful. It was just basic how to. The supplies were of decent quality. No complaints. I was able to finish several of the coasters in an afternoon. Still need to finish the set. With that all being said, if this set was being tried by someone who was not very crafty, it might be a tough craft. I have tried several different needle work/ embroidery type crafts. So this was not that unfamiliar for me. But for someone that is who is a novice might find this challenging with the basic instructions.

My 10 year old daughter loved this set and it kept her entertained! I don’t feel the final product makes a great coaster because it is to thick but given that she enjoyed making it I still think it is worth it.
