Features

  • AFFORDABLE ALTERNATIVE: Designed to take a beating from sun, wind, rain and snow, the Landmark offers an affordable permanent blind option that maximizes flexibility & durability while offering incredible value as compared to its hard-sided counterparts.
  • RIGID STEEL FRAME: Constructed with a heavy-duty rigid steel frame, the Landmark wont collapse like portable hunting blinds. It will stand up to the rigors of being placed outside permanently.
  • MARINE-GRADE TARPAULIN: For unparalleled durability, Landmark uses the same material for its shell as pick-up truck tonneau covers. Marine-Grade Reinforced Synthetic Tarpaulin is designed to resist the elements year after year without fade or rot.
  • ADJUSTABLE WINDOWS, 4-SIDED SHOOTING: Windows can be oriented vertically or horizontally allowing maximum flexibility in shot selection. The door doubles as a window allowing the hunter to shoot from all four sides of the blind.
  • TALL AND SPACIOUS INTERIOR: At 7 feet tall, the Landmark offers plenty of height for standing shots. With a roomy 6x 6 interior, it can also comfortably accommodate multiple hunters.

Description

LEAVE IT OUT. IT CAN TAKE IT! - Portable ground blinds take a beating from the sun, wind, rain and snow. Colors fade, materials rot, poles break and fabric tears. The Landmark Permanent Blind was designed and constructed to resist the elements year after year. The durable steel frame is covered in marine-grade reinforced synthetic tarpaulin, made from the same rugged materials used in pick-up truck tonneau covers. The new window configuration allows you to precisely control gap vertically, horizontally or both. If you’re looking for an affordable year-round hunting blind with enough room for group hunts and archers, the Landmark Permanent Blind is for you.

  • Better than homemade shooting houses
Our hunting club now has 3 of these and we buy a new one each year. I say they are better than the permanent shooting houses made of treated wood and a roof, because you can remove the blind from the support rails while leaving the tower and blind rails in place. Make sure to store the blind in a area free of mice and rats... they love the material! This prevents insects and other critters from building nest inside them which requires you to have to clean them out before the season. If bought in conjunction with the tower, these things are elevated 10' so make sure you attach the anchor and anchor cable as well as the stakes in the foot pedals... it catches a lot of wind! And they are really hot if in the sunlight in early season! The entrance door/window could use some redesign as you have to reach inside (in the dark) and unsnap the door from the rails to get inside. Once inside, you have to reattach the snaps (plastic) to the rails, then adjust the window to the height and width of your choosing. I've read review about the plastic snaps not being snug after a couple of seasons. We have not had that issue but we do remove the blinds and store them after the season. The windows take some getting use to if you are used to just opening a window in shooting house or permanent blind and having a shooting rest. Even though 3 of the 4 windows have somewhat of a shooting rail system that can be adjusted for you required height, I'd recommend a shooting stick be placed in each of these blinds instead. You adjust height and width of the windows by sliding the snaps up/down and right/left on the rail system. I have used the blind for both gun and archery which is an advantage over the permanent blinds and shooting houses unless they have archery windows built in. Setting these up can be done with one EXPERIENCED person but it is recommend 2-4 people be there when you stand these up. I have a remote winch on my UTV and can walk them up using the winch by myself, but It is not recommended. If you bend the support legs, you are done until you get a replacement leg! Overall very good blind and better if you buy the tower to go with it. Very hot if the temps are above 60 degrees and in direct sunlight! ... show more

  • WORST BLIND EVER- DO NOT BUY!
Purchase this blind in the fall of 2023. Went together fairly easily. Use this fall several times and immediately found that the Design of this product is very poor. The windows operate with clips and And the adjustability is somewhat diminished. The door is also operated by clips and is a complete pain to get in and out of because of them. My blind is protected to an extent as it is right next to a fence row and have the door facing south. Any substantial wind causes the clips to snap off of the framework and leaves the door wide open I contacted the manufacturer and spoke to a supervisor who was completely unhelpful and told me if I didn’t like it to resell it. He claim they get very few complaints, but I find this hard to believe I have a $593 boat anchor and a manufacturer that does not stand behind their product. I strongly encourage anyone looking at this blind to buy something else that has a much better design. ... show more

  • Overall Useful but needs a Better Window Design
I have two (2) Rivers Edge Landmark 450 blinds mounted on ten (10) ft tower platforms. I basically like the setup, with the exception of the terrible blind windows. I have them setup horizontally for best view, but find they are constantly falling down. As this problem is attributable to the product design (loose flat straps with "D" rings, around a metal frame) I'm investigating what corrective actions or retro-fit might work to make this blind work for me. I've set an inquiry out to the manufacturer, and will update this post when I hear from them. ... show more

  • Great hunting blind!!
Very pleased with this purchase. Very sturdy and spacious. Comfortable to move around in and went together easily (but timely since it has a lot of parts to it.) I bought it for my husband and son who are avid hunters and they are very pleased with it. I also purchased the tower with it which is an awesome combination together. ... show more
