If your kid is less than 30lbs this will probably be fine for them to use. If your kid is actually old enough to be able to sit and balance on them unaided, they are probably too big for these. The batons are so flimsy it's like trying to swing a wet loaf of french bread. In the words of my oldest, "The log crushes my nuts!" I do not recommend this product. ... show more

My kids love these! It still takes them a couple of mini to get on them without them rolling but that’s part of the fun! My only suggestion would be that the plastic be a bit thicker, otherwise great and I would still purchase again!

This is a one time use product. The boys had fun using it but it did not hold up to 14 year old boys playing roughly with it. What I love about this product is it’s good old-fashioned fun! I do wish the joust were a little bit longer but the kids have a great time! It is extremely difficult to even keep yourself upright on the log let alone joust battle 🤣 as far as quality goes, the durability is probably questionable every time the kids play with it. I’m just waiting for some thing to pop, but it’s made it through two pool parties so far I don’t anticipate it making it to next season, however. ... show more

By the time you actually get on the logs, you're too exhausted to even use the sticks to fight with. The logs do make pretty good floatation devices though.

    • Fun or Frustrating?
We got this for my son's birthday party. We had a great laugh as they tried to get onto the log which nobody could stay on for more than a few seconds, certainly not long enough to battle. We found that if you deflate them a little it makes it easier to sit on and battle. I wouldn't consider it for adults but it was great for kids. I have a pool and lots of grandkids. This thing is our newest addition and was such a giant hit at our last pool party. You can smack people with them, use them as oars, toss them across the pool and ride them around. They are well made and durable. Such a blast!
