It has a beautiful all-black look. Time will tell how long the sole and stitching sustain the test of the elements. The leather feels superior; you may want to invest in shoe trees to keep these puppies wrinkle-free. I usually wear 10.5 wide, and my width is about 11". Per the sizing guide, I ordered size 11.5, and although it was snug on the width, it was an inch or so loose in the front and the back, so I returned and ordered size 11. Surprisingly it was a perfect fit, so they do run true to size at least mine did. I've always liked the look of a Chelsea boot and this one is quite comfortable very soft the insoles are soft you have a really nice soils on the bottom to keep you from slipping and sliding. They're very well made nothing loose on them very solid pair of boots. The only thing that I wish they had on them was the zipper down the ankle for taking them on and off instead of the stretchy elastic material. The zipper would have been really nice it just makes it easier to get them on and off but that doesn't take away from the comfort of them which to me they're very comfortable a lot more comfortable than other ankle boots I have had in the past, I've been wearing them a lot since I've got them great for work or with a pair of jeans, they definitely have a sophisticated look to them again I think that's being part of the fact that they're well made I'm not too hip on the rounded toe but this boot still has enough room where you don't feel like your foot is getting pressed together. I mean I like it it's got a great look comfortable to wear a good soles on the bottom to keep you from slipping and sliding, even without the zipper on the ankle I do wear these quite often since I've had them and I like them a lot. I would recommend them if someone ask me if I would recommend them I certainly would even without the ankle zipper.     • Bit long for size, uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time

The shoe is a bit longer than it's projected size. It's also just ends up being extremely uncomfortable to wear for longer periods of time. The insole has virtually no cushioning. Looks nice however, just seems like the sizes are maybe half a size larger than what they really are.

When I opened the box, I was taken by just how nice these boots looked. Frankly, they look expensive, but they're not. The slipped on easily, and fit exactly as I hoped they would. They're great for the work day - comfortable and not too hot. The leather is very nice. When they get dirty, they wipe up easily. So far, they're holding up very well. If needed, I'm certain they would polish up nicely. But, so far, I haven't needed to polish. Just a quick wipe. If anything changes, I'll update. But, so far, I'm loving these boots. ... show more
