I cannot stress enough how important it is not to buy this! I have been using it for the last three weeks to monitor my blood sugar during pregnancy. I chose to monitor before my glucose tests because I have a history of gestational diabetes, and wanted to have an idea of what results to expect. I will say either way, my blood sugars are high and I do have gestational diabetes, but this monitor always read way higher than what my levels were, which is completely discouraging. I began to be shocked by how high these numbers were reading, so I started using another monitor that I used for a previous recent pregnancy. To give an idea of how incorrect this glucose monitor is, I'll attach a picture of my numbers on two glucose monitors (one being this one) that I took at the same time as my blood draw at my glucose test.

Easy to use.

The tool looks easy to use, you can measure how deep you are willing to cut your finger, I did not feel much pain using it. It needs very small drop of blood, and testing takes about 1 min. It stored in a case, made of fabrics. Goes with 50 test strips and 50 lancets. When is comes to test result, it’s little tricky. On the box it says that about 90% of the time it provided with results +-15% of the actual glucose level. In my experience, I used 2 devises. Every time it shows very approximate level. From 80 to 140. This morning one shows 86, and another 116. Don’t know who I should trust. I did 5 test one after another on 2 devises, every time I got different numbers.

Im very impressed with the Riroga Blood Glucose Monitor Kit. Everything you need comes in one complete package, which makes it extremely convenient for home use or travel. The monitor is easy to use with no coding required, gives quick and accurate readings, and the large display is clear and easy to read. The lancing device is comfortable, and having 50 strips and lancets included is a huge bonus. The travel case keeps everything organized and portable, which I really appreciate. This kit offers great value for the price and works just as well as more expensive brands. It’s reliable, user-friendly, and perfect for anyone who needs to monitor their blood sugar regularly. Works well. Easy to use. Cost much less than my copay for the meter, strips, and lancets. Saved a lot of money on this. Very accurate to lab value of blood glucose taken at same time. It reports a reading in seconds.

This glucose monitor is easy to use, but gave wildly different results on 3 tests within 15 minutes on the same patient. There was no control solution included, so impossible to calibrate. The instructions say to purchase it from the Riroga website, but my computer will not allow me to go there due to security issues. I cannot find this brand at retail stores. I am going to try to return it.
