I use this for pro wrestling shows i run production for, Great sound, Packaged and shipped well. hammer should be tied down better for shipping. but otherwise, great product

Bell is great but the hammer broke during the event and had to be duct taped. Possibly due to the inexperience of the New time keeper but it still shouldn't have broken. Overall, for the price, it's a good item.

    • Loud and pure tone - wow!
The media could not be loaded. This bell is as loud as I could imagine anybody needing, and the tone is great. The sustain goes on forever. Are you getting the idea I like the sound? Someone asked for an MP3 of it ringing; I shot a video, but I doubt the volume is going to sound as impressive as it does in person. If you've priced similar bells, you can see this is a great price. I got this for a backstage sound effect, and it really cuts through the sound of a crowd. Others reviewers have complained about the condition of the bell when it showed up, and if you look at the photos they used to present their product at the top, you can see dents on the board and paint torn off at the center of the bell where the nut is. All I can say is that mine was cosmetically and functionally fine. I don't quite see how looks matter for something like this, but to each his own. And IMHO, that ringside.com sticker ain't comin' off without a major fight. ... show more
