The app is quite detailed enough for the average person. You DON'T have to pay a monthly fee to see your own data, and the battery life is great. Data accuracy squares with my Samsung watch 5 and the ring is both comfortable to wear all night and won't have to spend time on the charger just when you want to go to bed. I'm getting more than a week on a single battery charge. I love the charger box, like an earbud case, where you get several charges before you have to plug the case in, so you could travel for weeks without plugging in. If you're worried about scratching the finish, you can buy silicone ring covers to wear to the gym or when you're doing manual labor. Runs a tiny bit smaller then my regular ring size so best to get the sizer kit. It's cheap and ships quick. If you're in the process of losing a lot of weight or your fingers get thinner in the winter cold, you might consider sizing to fit your middle or ring finger in summer and index in winter or when you've met weight goal. If this is not a consideration, I find it most comfortable on the index finger.

I like this ring for the fact that it tracks my sleep and it has a long charge life. My watch can track my sleep but it always dies before I even go to bed so that’s useless. When I ordered this I read that they were working on the temperature feature but so far no. It tracks your temp when you’re asleep but I want to know other times. Especially when I’m not feeling well it would be nice to know if I’ve got a fever. I do like the fact that there’s no subscription to use the app like other rings do. That was the main selling point for me. Also the stress level is nice to know. And it gave me an alert the other day that my heart rate was elevated. I wouldn’t have known otherwise. So it’s a pretty good ring. Get the temperature feature to work and I’ll give it 5 stars.

First of all I picked the first gen RingConn as my budget option for a smart ring. No subscription, ring fits and looks good, all sorts of useful information. It fits super well and I don’t feel it while I’m sleeping. It has been fantastic to be able to see information about my health in such an easy layout. The app works well and it connects with no issues on demand. Lots of useful information if you know how to read it! You can even export your data to organize it in your own way as well! I would definitely pick this ring over others as a budget minded and someone who likes data. Ring looks nice and nobody even realizes it’s a smart ring unless the LEDs are flashing but as I said before I honestly forget this is on half the time.

I've been wearing this ring for six days, and also wearing my FitBit during sleep, to compare results. The ring does not show me the various types of sleep, like the FitBit, but there's more information, altogether. It shows the SpO2 levels, and what time they get low, heart rates and range, respiration rate and range, and skin temperature in Celsius, which is annoying to me, living in the U.S. It also shows steps and calories burned. The ring is shiny on the edges, but it's very dull, and more like bronze, on the outer surface. That is disappointing. However, it's been such a help in keeping track of my health issues, I'm keeping it. It's kind of fun seeing the lights flash underneath, when I move my hand. I charged it after 7 days of wearing. On the whole, I am very happy with it.

I tried 2 different rings. One was $53 and it wasn’t worth a nickel. On RingConn, I would take a screen shot each time I woke up and this ring caught each time. When I fell asleep in the recliner, it said “we detected a nap” and when I saw it was a 52 minute nap, I rewound my show 52 minutes and picked up right where I left off. It seemed to pick up abnormalities even before I got sick. Then it told me that my temperature went up 2.86 degrees. I got the thermometer out and RingConn was right. There are many detailed sleep analytics that even Fitbit didn’t pick up. There are more important ones on this app. It’s worked flawlessly so far. Charging case is small, sleek, and, unlike Fitbit, I haven’t had to try and clean probes out because it’s not charging. I hope I continue to like it as well as I do after a few weeks use. Update 6 months later: For sleep use, it started to be pretty good after 10 days of adjusting to me. After 4-1/2 months, it started to just say I was asleep the entire time I went to bed, even if I was up every hour (I did a screen shot on my phone when I got up) and got up for 3 hours during the night, had a snack and did dishes. RingConn is saying I was sleeping all that time. I’ve also had it detect naps when I was out walking, not detect naps I did take or not display them for 12 hours after I took them. If I slept 3 hours and it’s saying I slept 10 hours, why bother to wear the RingConn at all? So if you want something that may work 4-5 months and pay $250 for that provide, then buy it.

GF loves this thing. Tracks all her stats as good as or better than her apple watch, charges less, and tracks her monthly cycle better than other apps.. also NO monthly fee.. def get the sizing kit and triple measure.. the fit is a bit different...
