What fun this unit was. The ring doorbell is cool. I gave the Echo Show 5 3 Gen to my granddaughter. The spacial speakers are the tops. they sound Fantastic!!!. but now the bad. Alexa is dumber than dirt! she can't find the music I ask for [amazon music]. she can't answer any of my technical questions. The worst is it started playing commercials on my photo displays. AND MOST OF ALL Do Not lay it face down. It goes nuts! flashing changing songs every few seconds, a real mess. Reset it to factory settings it works great again. Amazon has a long way to go. If you want simple answers and tasks, go for it. I am sure a 4-year-old would enjoy it.

These both are great, the doorbell gives us a sense of security, and the Echo let's me check in on my 3 year old Granddaughter when she is napping, I don't have to risk waking her up to soon to check in!

It does not always alert when pressed. Missed a couple of deliveries cos of it. 3 stars cos it's ring and also cos am disappointed that it freezes sometimes.

My friends out here in the mid west, it’s awesome, I feel safer, use it to remind me, timers. Birthdays, news, music, great sounding speaker, tv all in one device . Safety is paramount.

The doorbell is fine. I got it to replace the ADT one we had that kept disconnecting from WiFi and cutting videos off midstream. The big disappointment here is the echo show. The screen randomly goes black and will stay that way for a day or two. I’ll unplug it and plug it back in and the screen will come on for a little while then go black again. It will respond when initiated but the screen is just black. It keeps showing ads even though we’ve told it to stop showing them. The sound quality is terrible. The device is just a complete piece of trash and I will never buy another Amazon speaker again.
