Reviewing Kiss Me You Fool shade. I wore this lipstick while eating a greasy turkey leg at a festival…and it actually stayed. No transfer, no feathering. I didn’t even feel the need to touch it up after eating. I could probably end my review right there. But I’ll add that beyond the impressive wear longevity, I do like the finish of this lipstick. I initially wore it without the gloss topper, wanting more of a matte look, but found the pigment too sticky on its own. With the gloss, however, the stickiness is gone. And it isn’t a high-shine gloss, either; it’s slightly shinier than a “satin finish,” but not too much. I do have to apply a couple of layers to get the depth of color I want, but I found that to be true of every liquid lipstick I’ve tried. Good pigment, nicely opaque, not sheer. Compared to other matte “ink” lipsticks I wear often, I haven’t had the same problems with pilling/flaking or uneven, chunky applications with this one. It also doesn’t snag on my lips if they are a little dry. But fair warning: you must use “waterproof makeup remover” with this. My regular cleanser didn’t even smear it. I had been feverishly searching for a lipstick that really would last as promised, only to be met with disappointment time and again. So, I was prepared for the worst with this order BUT was pleasantly surprised to find it actually lives up to its description! This is the first time I've used liquid lip coloring like this, so it took me a while to adapt my technique. At first, I would rub the wand into my lips like regular tube lipstick but found I was accidentally smearing the lip coloring above and below my natural lip line (think "clown" lips). Once I started lightly applying and letting dry for a minute before applying gloss, all worked very well. As for the color of this one ("I'll Call You"), the pink is a little too vivid for my pale skin, so I'm topping with a buff color. But, I like the lasting feature of this lipstick so much that I've ordered two more in lighter shades. ... show more

I use Maybelline Super Stay all the time but after trying this I am sold. Your lips don't have that zero moisture feel like they do with Super Stay lip product. It is very long lasting and being that it has the moisture gloss on the other end it makes for a much more comfortable to wear. I first though that if I topped the color with the moisture gloss it might smudge or not last very long on the lips but that is not the case. I tried two different colors...."Just Teasing" and "Wish Upon a Berry". Both had great pigment and they stayed on ALL DAY without reapplying. I used their top coat when I first applied then, throughout the day, I used Chap Stick on top. My lips never felt dry and the pigment never came off. I can say that, in my "older years (60)," the Just Teasing is a bit TOO bright red for me and looks a bit harsh. Whereas the Wish Upon a Berry had a more natural look while still giving me a definite boost in color. I already ordered more Wish Upon a Berry but will be giving my 30 yr old daughter the deeper red Just Teasing. ... show more

This product lasts 16 hours+ doesn’t have the flaking that many of the others get! The gloss feels a little creamy but seals the color perfectly. You can apply a chapstick over without transferring color if the stickiness of the matte stain bothers you, which is an aspect that I LOVED. Color doesn’t bleed and is easy to touch up.
