The adapter worked fine for a single day. Then it stopped working completely. It was used on a power supply that was less than 65W and the power supply works on other devices, so I don't think that was the problem. I purchased this 4.5mm pin-to-USB-C adapter to see if it would work for a new Dell Latitude laptop that uses as USB-C charging connector. I have several chargers (65W) for a previous Dell laptop that use a 4.5mm pin connector and this adapter appears to work fine to allow me to use these existing chargers with the new laptop. As a USB-C connector, it will plug in either direction but the right-angle design may interfere with use of adjacent connectors (USB, audio, SD card etc). Its only about $4 cheaper than the cheapest replacement charger I found on Amazon, so you may find it not worth the difference. ... show more
