Great skate. My daughter is in snowplow 3 and these are great for her. She's a size 13.5 street show but we bought a 2. She has plenty of growing room. Her coaches say these are good beginner skates and should last her through basic classes. They need to be sharpened but the rink did that for under $10 on the spot. Get some blade guards for walking around to preserve the sharpness, and some speakers to keep them from rusting and you're golden. 5 year old said they were comfy from go. Great pair of skates. Well made and comfortable. My daughter wears a size 13 shoe and her foot is slightly wide. I had to buy a size 1 for her so that they fit comfortably. Also, make sure you get the blades sharpened before you use them. The shop at our local rink was able to do this for $8.

Quick delivery, product as stated. The boots have good support. It's a little narrow for my daughter's feet, but we baked them at the rink and put her feet in so it'll mold to her feet. Works great afterwards. They're very good for beginners. You may want higher end skates for spinning and jumping.

I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old. The five year old has an older pair of these and they are good skates. Bought these for the 3 year old for snowplow 1 and it seems quality is down. The base has separated from the boot on one skate. The blades are quicker to rust even though I maintain them with the same rigor. Will probably look for a different set of kids skates when they outgrow these. ... show more

Decent beginner skate for the price. These are BEGINNER skates and should not be used for spins/jumps or anything beyond basic skating. They are not real leather and are very stiff, though better than rental skates. Be sure to get your blades sharpened regularly - every 10x or so.

Purchased this brand at the recommendation of the skate coach and I have not heard one complaint. The ankle is stiff and supportive which was lacking in others.
