  • Really nice deck!
Format: Cards
I am just getting into tarot and though I have a couple of more arty decks I really am becoming partial to this one. I usually use playing cards for magic (with a "c" not a "k") so the poker sized deck is perfect for my expectations of what the hand feel of cards should be. They go from a tarot deck to a deck of playing card by removing the major arcana and the knights. After that you can use them any way you can use playing cards. A friend of mine who is a voodoo priestess who I have been learning from did say that the card "f*d" with her because she uses playing cards for divination as well as tarot and that, to her, the tarot images don't coincide with the meanings of the cards as regular cards when she does those readings. So it might not be perfect depending on your understanding, style and usage. I do recommend that you remove the said cards before using the deck for games. I forgot and played poker with some friends. I got a full house and three people died. ... show more

  • What i always wanted.
Format: Cards
I love tarot, but I've always had trouble working with them because the typical tarot card is rather large. I couldn't properly shuffle them and they took too much space on the table when I did a reading. I was looking for a mini deck (like the ones i had for portability that i lost) when i came across these. Typically mini decks have the same weird size ratio as normal tarot so it still feels weird. Thes are not quite mini but i think i love them more. They're the same size as normal playing cards, so the shuffle feels natural. You could also remove the major cards and use them as playing cards, which i like(yes. I know this is a very unpopular opinion). They're perfect for me. They're everything I ever wanted in a tarot card. ... show more

  • Prefect size
Format: Cards
The printing is clear, and the size is perfect. I really like that each small card, such as the Three of Swords, has a number on it. This makes it very beginner-friendly and easy to learn. Overall, it is a nice deck and great for beginners.

  • Great, but look closely at the suits Great, but look closely at the suits
Format: Cards
I love the artwork, they came out amazing Only complaints are that the Knights are marked as Jokers and have their suit symbol on the opposite side, hiding it when in your hand; and the Wands and Swords symbols being too similar at a distance or if you have poor eyesight, maybe put them at angles like on the major arcana symbol? Overall though, great purchase! (Photo of a hand to demonstrate what I mean) ... show more

  • Great deck - convenient size Great deck - convenient size
Format: Cards
I really like this deck because it just has charm. I enjoy the way it fits into my palm and it shuffles easily. The coating allows you to keep them clean. Besides it’s always good to have a few versions of Rider/Waite handy. This deck is a humble star!

  • The perfect hybrid tarot and playing card deck.
Format: Cards
It helps me learn tarot reading and playing games like a standard deck of cards too. I've searched everywhere and this is the best. It's a fair price too.

  • They are the exact same size as poker sized playing cards. They are the exact same size as poker sized playing cards.
Format: Cards
If you came here wondering if these cards are actually the same size as playing cards, know that they are. I posted a photo with a tarot card on top of a regular playing card, and the cards are the exact same height and width. This is a high quality product especially if you're looking for it smaller tarot cards. ... show more
