Repeat buyer. I keep a stock of these bobbins on hand. The quality and convenience of having prewound bobbins is game changer over winding my own bobbins. I go through about 1 box of bobbins every 4-6 weeks depending on my projects. I have used bobbins from every brand that offers prewound and use to buy what ever I found on sale when I needed to order. On average most boxes of 144 bobbin have about a 10% rate of "bad bobbins" in the batch. This could be winding issues, start tails popping through midway through the bobbin, weak spots etc. Overall with the Richword bobbins I run about a 5% issue rate. Those issues add up over time and do affect your time (changing out and rethreading) and product quality (addressing rats nests and stitch issues). On a side note, I not only use these in my single needle embroidery machine but also have started using them in my sewing machine (I have white and black) and get a nice clean stitch every time!

First time purchasing the Richword brand of pre-wound bobbins. I am using them in the Poolin brand embroidery machine, also from Richword. I have used a few other pre-wound bobbins in the past, so I can make an honest comparison. I had no issues with quality or performance of this lesser-known brand. It threaded easily and held up very well. The thread was smooth and did not have any "bumps" that could ruin a design. I have 144 bobbins to go through, so hoping the remainder perform as well. I also bought the Richword brand embroidery thread, and it also holds up very, very well and has wonderful colors. I, however, did not purchase them from Amazon, so I cannot give a review on it. I would highly recommend this brand of pre-wound bobbins.
