  • Well worth the money.
Team Name: 5/16-18 Size: 11.8mm
So far I have 0 complaints. Used it maybe half a dozen times and all I can say is WOW! Honestly think I shooter with it now. (My only issue with it is my daughter trying to steal it. Lol)

  • Second RHINO, first Pro…
Team Name: 3/8-10 Size: 11.8mm
3/8 x 10 joint on a McDermott cue Slight miss alignment at the joint, perhaps a pilot hole issue, but only 1/16” when rolled. This is my second RHINO shaft, first PRO version, both are 11.8mm. This one hits slightly more like wood but performs like carbon. I’ve shot three racks right away and so far it controls the cue ball as expected. I’m not sure why it came UPS, but it arrived on time with no INTERNAL packing damage, outer box showed signs of flexing. I recommend this brand as a decent introduction to carbon fiber shafts, try different tips, that’s where I believe most of the “feel” is when playing. Overall a good value. ... show more

  • A Must upgrade !
Team Name: Q-loc Size: 11.8mm
It feels great and so far we shoot good together. The weight does seem to be added more towards the tip side versus the butt end of the shaft, and I like that much better than the original rhino. The stock Nishiki tip is a good one too.

  • It has an area that is not smooth at all

Terrible product. I never thought that they will send me a directed shaft..

It's shoots great. A lil pricy but solid shaft.

  • Short shaft
Team Name: 5/16-18 Size: 12.5mm
This pool cue is a step up from anything I've used before in terms of being lightweight and premium in quality. It's rather short for what I'm assuming should be tighter pocket shots, but seems to be extendable with a standard threading of your choice. This would also make a great gift for the billiards player in your life. Came packed in a decently nice box and not just tossed into a cardboard larger box. The carbon fiber material feels smooth to the hand and no burrs or risks of splintering in your hand as far as I can tell. However, it takes some getting used to as it's almost... too light? Definitely a change from what most casual players would be used to. For someone looking to up their game in billiards this might be a good place to start! ... show more

  • My new daily driver shaft
Team Name: 3/8-8 Size: 12.5mm
A bit of background: I shoot a lot of pool. I play in a weekly BCA league, another casual league, and I shoot with friends pretty regularly, so I’m playing at least 12+ hours most weeks. My usual cues are a Cuetec Synergy SVB and a Rhino Nebula 2. I picked up the Rhino Must Pro because I’ve already been impressed with the regular Rhino carbon fiber shaft on my Nebula 2, and I wanted to see if the upgrade was actually worth it. While it's not an enormous upgrade over the regular Rhino shaft, that's probably a testament to the quality of the original, and this shaft plays beautifully. The deflection is extremely low, to the point where I barely have to adjust for it at all unless I’m going all the way cross table with a lot of side spin. It’s better in that respect than the original Rhino shaft, and honestly better than my Cuetec. The taper is a little different, but it took almost no time to get used to. After a few racks, it felt natural. The tip is excellent. It’s listed as medium, but I’d call it closer to medium-hard. It holds chalk well, hits clean, and I haven’t had problems with miscues or slipping. It took me a little practice to dial in my draw with it, and soft touch shots needed a short adjustment period too, but once I found the hit, it performed exactly how I wanted, especially on slow shots. Draw, follow, stun, little finesse shots, all of it feels controlled and predictable. The one issue I have is at the joint. I’m using it on a Rhino butt with the correct joint (3/8-8), and there is a very slight unevenness where the shaft meets the butt. It’s small, maybe half a millimeter, and it does not affect play. The shaft rolls smooth, shoots straight, and performs great. But I can feel the little bump when I rub my hand over the joint, and at this price, that shouldn’t be there. It annoys me, even though it hasn’t changed how the cue plays. That said, I’m not knocking off a star because the actual performance is outstanding. This is currently my daily driver, and I’m choosing it over cues and shafts I already liked a lot. Great tip, extremely low deflection, clean hit, strong control, and a very easy adjustment period. For serious players looking for a carbon fiber upgrade, this is absolutely worth trying. 5 stars. ... show more

  • Premium Feel , Lightweight, and Excellent Build Quality
Team Name: 3/8-10 Size: 12.5mm
I ordered this Rhino Must Pro shaft because I wanted to upgrade to a low-deflection, lightweight carbon-fiber shaft without paying the even higher prices charged for some of the premium tournament brands. I chose the 30-inch version with the 12.5 mm tip and 3/8-10 joint. This is the shaft only, not a complete pool cue, so matching the joint type to the cue butt is essential before ordering. The shaft arrived in excellent condition and made a strong first impression. The carbon-fiber surface is smooth and uniform without rough areas, visible seams, or finish defects. The 3/8-10 joint is cleanly machined, and the included joint protector is a welcome addition for storage and transportation. The Nishiki Black medium tip also appears neatly installed and shaped. The pro taper feels natural in the bridge hand, and the 12.5 mm diameter provides a familiar feel for someone moving from a traditional maple shaft. The low-deflection construction is intended to provide more predictable cue-ball response when using side spin, while carbon fiber offers better resistance to warping and changes in temperature or humidity than wood. The 30-inch length also provides a little additional reach compared with a standard 29-inch shaft. At its price, this is not an inexpensive accessory, but the price is reasonable for the carbon-fiber shaft market and significantly below some of the best-known premium alternatives. The smooth finish, Nishiki Japanese tip, pro taper, joint protector, and overall construction make it feel like a serious upgrade rather than an entry-level shaft. This is an excellent choice for a regular or competitive pool player looking for low deflection, consistent performance, and the durability of carbon fiber. ... show more
