I have not purchased Revlon polish in quite some time and I have to say, they have definitely upped their game! First, they have addressed the brush, which is now rounded so that the application can naturally get nice and close to the cuticle area for a smooth look. It dries very quickly and the color builds up very nicely with multiple coats. With one coat, you get that beautiful frosted look but you can see your natural nail through it at a certain angle. Add a second coat and you're much more opaque with that beautiful, elegant frosty pearl hue. There is the usual smell from polish, which I have no problem with, but if you do, just make sure that you're working in a well ventilated area. It applies in a lovely, smooth coat so that the 'frost' effect is even and smooth, which is what I always look for when I'm doing ANY manicure, regardless the color(s) that I'm using. I always try to apply a thin coat the first time around to feel out the formula and see how the brush is working on the nails, and this has a smooth and even coverage that gives a beautiful end result. I am going to grab myself a second bottle so that I have a backup, because this is the perfect, easy but elegant manicure look that you can imagine. I absolutely LOVE it! I use this as a nail topper, but it also could be used on its own. I really love it as a nail topper. The width of the brush is perfect. The application is easy and smooth no lines. Super shiny and pretty highly recommend.
