I bought 2 different colors, after buying one at a store to give it a try. They are easier to apply than other Revlon Colorstay types, and although they don’t stay on as long they have some longevity & only need to be reapplied after eating. They are fairly soft but cd use a moisturizer. The problem is the colors. You can’t really tell from photos. I bought Majestic Rose b/c one reviewer said it was a nice rose color, but in reality it is more brown than Your Majesty, which has more pink & I believe is a nicer rose color. (I am fair-skinned, dark hair, blue eyes). I also bought Partner in Wine, which I thought wd be a deep bluish red, but is actually almost black. Since I can’t return it I will save it for Halloween!

The color on the package is deceptive. The actual colors is so much better. I’ve been looking for a natural look. This does the job. It also feels good on your lips. Mine lasted about half a day- not all day like other lip stains but the color looks so much more natural and it doesn’t dry my lips like the other brand- so I’m good with it

Update: I bumped the rating up from 3 to 4 stars because this lipstick grew on me and I end up using it a lot. Like mentioned it is easy and not fussy to throw on, that’s what makes me gravitate towards wearing it often. The finish of the lipstick also grew on me (I was used to super matte dry finish) and now I don’t really mind it as much. I would recommend! I ended up getting multiple more colors, my favorite is “your go to” which is a beautiful medium neutral nude! I would recommend this to busy ladies and moms on the go! First off I was sent the WRONG COLOR. So annoying. I was sent the color “speak up” which is a medium pink color. The name satin ink is a little deceptive. This is like a long wear gloss stain. The swatches pictured are of the color freshly applied and then worn off. The finish is definitely tacky, which is annoying. On the plus side it’s very comfortable and not drying and lasts for a long time. It’s definitely NOT transfer proof. It will come off on whatever cups, straws, whatever you put your mouth on. I will probably try another color (the color I originally ordered) because I like that the formula lasts for a long time and is not drying on my lips. I ended up keeping the incorrect color they sent me because the pink color is nice and different than what I normally wear. The formula reminds me a bit of a high end YSL gloss stain I’ve tried before. L’Oréal also has a similar product to this I’ve tried. I have a love hate relationship with this product. It has pros and cons. I normally wear matte liquid lipsticks but I will be using this product for days my lips are dry and I haven’t exfoliated them. The application is pretty easy to do, even while in the go. I normally use a lip liner with matte liquid lipsticks, but I didn’t need one with this. The wand is a nice size and shape. This is a nice product to grab and run out the door on the go because it doesn’t require a lot of fooling with. I often times grab this and throw it in my bag when I’m running to the store so I can throw it on in the car. It’s always a plus to have a lip product like that when you have kids because sometimes us moms are busy lol! If I could give it 3.5 stars I probably would, only because the finish is tacky and I don’t feel it has a satin finish like advertised.

I purchased the gray color, Perfect Storm. This color is a pretty sheer one, compared to the thicker, more pigmented other color I bought prior (Partner in Crime). It’s a bit like a gray-mauve and is surprisingly flattering on my fair, cool toned skin. I do wish it was a more opaque gray though. Texture is almost like a gloss and doesn’t quite dry down like the first one I got. It also has really fine multicolored glitter that you can’t really see until you wipe it off, which is fine but unexpected. It’s not moisturizing but I don’t expect that from a long lasting liquid lipstick. Speaking of lasting, I can get about 3-4 hours out of it before it starts to fade, especially on my inner lips, just with drinking. I actually prefer it not lasting as long because it’s easier to reapply when needed and you don’t have to scrape your lips to get it all the way off like some other liquid lipsticks (I’m looking at you, NYX XXL). I might repurchase, just not in this color because the lack of pigment and sheerness of this particular color.
