This color goes on like a matte and you let it dry. (Maybe 15 seconds)...Then you put the glossy side on- which is on the other end of the lipstick over the dried color and it makes your lips feel and look great. The color is beautiful and they have many choices. I have 4 daughters and we have looked through all the lipsticks to find one that actually stays on your lips ALL DAY... or 12 hours. This one actually does. It will stay on wether you are at the beach, eating out, working as a nurse for 12 hours or whatever . You will need to take it off at night with Vaseline or makeup remover or it may still be there on the morning. To refresh it during the day,... just take the glossy side and re-goover your lips and the color is refreshed. ... show more

I was buying the more expensive version of this that cost about $35 each. This lovely Revlon product gives you two and it's not drying. Lip stain doesn't rub off on clothes or masks, if you're so inclined.
