The media could not be loaded. We have owned about 4 different kinds of these silicone water balloons & even though they may all look the same, I assure you they are not! This set has all the qualities you want. The first & probably most important thing I like about these is the magnets are covered by a thick layer of silicone. We've owned some where the magnets are exposed and pop in & out of a hole. They last about one use before the magnets start falling out & getting lost. We've also owned some where the magnets are covered but the magnets are too weak so they leak or pop open as you're throwing them. These are absolutely perfect! Magnets are covered & the seal is strong enough where they don't leak but still bust open on contact (see vid. I had to use a reasonable amount of pressure). That aspect alone makes these worth buying & good value. (Don't even bother with the ones without magnets) They're also good quality silicone. We've owned some that felt a bit more plasticy & rigid. They ripped after a few uses. These are very soft & flexible and much thicker than the ones that tear. I have no doubt these will hold up a few summers. These also have a cool looking water design in the silicone which is a nice touch. If you've never used these before I highly recommend them. They are SO much easier & more fun than regular water balloons. My kids love them because they can play with them independently & you never run out of balloons! (no waiting on an adult to fill, tie knots, etc). All you need is a bucket of water. You open the balloon, drop it in & it fills and seals itself! They don't hurt when you get hit & they bust open just like a regular balloon. It's a pretty ingenious idea. My kids also like to use them as "play bubbles." They put other stuff in them like tiny gems, Lego people, sand, bugs, etc (Sometimes with water, sometimes without).

The media could not be loaded. These reusable water balloons are brilliant! Gone are the days of filling with the hose, tying till your fingers hurt, and picking little rubber pieces out of the grass. Pop it open, fill, throw and repeat! I love that the silicon is thin, so the balloon usually opens on contact. The magnets are strong without being too strong so the balloons usually work as balloons should. SPLASH! Be aware that these are reusable but not indestructible, they fill easier with a bucket of water than a hose, and there will be times when they don’t open until they hit the ground or not at all. None of this diminish the fun, but it’s good to have appropriate expectations. These are great for: —big water fights where filling individual balloons in advance would be a hassle, and areas where clean-up of balloon pieces would be difficult. —pools (but they will sink), fill with hose or bucket. —older kids with dexterity to fill and close. —younger kids or toddlers with some help. Less great for: —big groups because they are somewhat expensive. —filling with a hose (it works but it’s harder to get them really really full). Overall, I love these balloons and will absolutely get more. And I’ll be thankful all summer that I don’t have little bits of rubber all over the grass!

I got these for summer time fun and to take to the beach, and I'm so pleased. They are incredibly easy to fill up; split the halves apart (they have a silicone hinge to keep the halves together and are magnetized), put underwater, and let them close and pull out a full water balloon. They do not leak, but burst open with just a little pressure. My 6 year old can fill them up by herself, but she would not be able to tie old-fashioned water balloons by herself. These also leave no trashy balloon pieces around to pick up, they can be used over and over, and they come with a handy mesh carrying/storage bag. One nitpick is that the packaging says they are biodegradable... but as they are made of silicone and magnets this is untrue, please do not try to compost silicone or magnets 😂

These are fantastic. They are easy to use, have bright colors, and great for water playtime. That being said, with the tiny magnets they are not for little little kids who might chew on them. These aren't as thick as some others I've encountered, but they still get the job done well. Totally recommend, just not for kiddos that might chew on them.

Even though traditional water balloons are much less expensive, they leave behind a huge mess. If you miss a piece of a latex balloon in the grass, a toddler or pet can get a hold of it, which can be an issue. These balloons are made of thin silicone, and the magnets around the rims do a good job of keeping them closed until use. Because they can be refilled very quickly by simply dunking them in a bucket of water, adults don't have to resupply new balloons every few of minutes. They burst easily on impact, and because they are made of thin and soft material, they do not hurt when you get hit. Due to our large family gatherings, I opted for the 24-pack. These balloons worked as expected and will be a great way to keep the grandkids cool in the summer.
