I LOVE Moleskin notebooks. However, for the price point, I really wanted pages I could write on with pen - without bleed through - and none of the currently available soft- cover large Moleskins offer the paper thickness I wanted. Moleskin weekly planners do (I have one, no bleed through in that), and I think Moleskin project planners do as well, but the regular dotted or lined notebooks have paper with too low of a weight to prevent bleed through. So you can only use one side of each page, which feels wasteful and also not budget friendly considering Moleskin costs. These have been a really good alternative at 1/3 the price of a comparable Moleskin, and no bleed through. I use Uniball Vision Elite pens for reference. So far so good in other ways as well - durability seems fine. While I still prefer the look of the Moleskins (they are somehow sleeker and some streamlined on the outside), I can’t forgive the paper weight, so I’ll def be using more of this brand.

I grew up a Chandlers girl so since my teenage years, I’ve never really known a life without a planner. I feel like in the last 30 Years of my life, I’ve tried just about every planner out there. Discovering bujo was just the “life hack” that every planner and journal I’ve ever had before that was missing. After several years of refining my leuchttrum preferences, I took a chance on these last year, and all I can say is that I wish I was smart enough to have found them years before. Size-wise they are perfect for my needs. I love the fact that you get waaay more pages so it’s like everything I love but on steroids. No worries that I will run out of space during the year (done that), plenty of room to take notes and document everything I need to on a day to day basis. And then some. just as sturdy of a cover as the Leuchtturm and comparable journals. These are now my go-to’s for a daily journal and so happy that I stumbled across them. If you’re bujo-ing but like Looking for something more, these are definitely worth checking out. Very happy with my purchases and looking forward to staring a new one in 2023. 😊

Soft, opens nearly flat to each page, elastic holds it closed. I love the dotted pages and soft cover. The color is elegant. I wish it had an elastic for holding a pen but not bad enough to ding a star. I purchased adhesive elastic pen holders and added it on myself. I will be purchasing this same journal when my current one fills up

These turned out to be much nicer than I expected. Paper is lovely, takes fountain inks well without much bleed, soft off white color similar to 1917. Cover feels nice, 1-2mm leather basically glued to the notebook insert but it works

The notebook is well made but the pages are too slick. My ink stays wet forever on it and so it smudges really bad. I won’t be using these notebooks, and I can’t return them because I’ve already written (smudgily) in them.
