We all do it. We buy a bunch of random writing supplies, always with the expectation that we'll get full use out of them. Rarely do we use them completely. Most of the time we just toss it in with the rest of those archaic relics of the past. But these journals... they feel so freaking good in your hands. They are super flexible, the paper is sturdy, and as mind boggling as it is for me to say this, it's true: I actually used them. That's right, Amazon. I wrote in these things. I didn't just write one or two sentences either, I crafted amazingly detailed short stories. We're talking pages, like at least three full pages. One day, when I'm seventy-five and my grandchildren are digging through my belongings, hoping to find something of value to sell to the alien overlords, they'll find these journals and be amazed at just how ancient their grandpappy was. I LOVE THIS JOURNAL. The pages are thick enough so there is no bleed through and the cover is SO soft and pretty. I will be purchasing more of these once the ones I have are full. Absolutely recommend these beautiful journals.

The craftmenship of the journal is great. After using it and folding it on its spine for several months, it has held up and there is no visible cracking or separation of the cover or spine of the journal. The paper is very smooth and wonderful to write on. The paper can hold fountain pen ink well with no bleed through or visible writing on the other side. The only issues that I had was a section of page numbers were out of order. The book jumped from 12 to 29, then from 44 to 13, and finally to 28 to 45. Beside this issue, which could easily be a small production misstake with a binding machine that could get by quality control. I would recommend this to anyone who is a more serious journaler or writer. ... show more

I’ve purchased six of these journals; in pink, green, and black. The colors are beautiful. I can’t believe the quality you get for the price. Heavy weight creamy paper (not yellow-hued; it’s the perfect cream color). A thick, buttery soft cover. Nice sturdy paper pocket on the back inside cover. And an elastic strap to keep it closed. And numbered pages. I think there are quite a few of us “stationery snobs” who are really particular about papers and aesthetics. If you are one, you will not regret buying these! ... show more

    • Quality Control issues with this notebook

These notebooks look amazing, and the paper quality is 100gsm, so ink flows smoothly; however there are some quality control issues with this item. The gusseted pocked in the back of the notebook, that is pasted to the interior back cover was assembled wrinkled. The black notebook's outside front cover has scratches, and gray discolorations like water was dripped on it. The plastic wrappings and coverings on the notebooks arrived ripped up and not bounded to the books as it should be on a pack of brand new notebooks. These notebooks should be no more than $10-$15 dollars on amazon. Also amazon/seller uses USPS to ship these items. USPS IS THE WORSE shipping partner. They [USPS] makes the Amazon Prime program look horrible. Shipments are always delayed and lost. This is where our tax money is going to low end shipping partners such AS the USPS. AMAZON STOP using USPS!!!!!!! Ship ONLY with Amazon Shipping, UPS, or FedEX PLEASE!!!!!!! ... show more

    • Really good notebooks, but...they could be a bit smaller for better portability.

Nice quality, looks great, handy pockets and front pages, right-sized ruled pages. This is probably more about my needs, but they are literally a half-inch too big to slide easily into a standard backpack that fits a 15" laptop. It's not a deal-breaker, but it can get annoying and clumsy, specially when your in a hurry :). ... show more

I've been using this notebook for a few months now, and it's super nice. The ink doesn't bleed through, and the paper is smooth and perfect for writing. I personally use the Sharpie S-Gel pens with it, and it takes the ink wonderfully. The page numbers and table of contents have been amazing, and overall, I would recommend this notebook to anyone who needs a more premium writing notebook. ... show more
