The end of the leash broke where the clasp is and fixed it by tieing a bunch of knots then it ended up getting frayed around that same part by everyday use for like a month so I'd say maybe try to find something more heavy duty. The spring inside also came undone around 1/2 a month of use but I unscrewed it and fixed it and it worked fine till it was fraying. I have an 8 pound pomeranian. Dog: French Bulldog (pup). 4 mths old. 14 lbs. Pros: Good and easy extension and retraction. Me and my pup both love this. It allows him to get in a few running steps. Con: The only bad thing is that essentially the leash itself is merely a ribbed ribbon. It is very thin and due to the fact that my pup loves to both chew on his leash and carry it in his mouth, I don't expect this leash to last more than 2-3 days. ... show more
