Visit the Store Visit the Store Visit the Store Visit the Store Visit the Store Visit the Store The transmission range of a walkie talkie mainly depends on the RF power, higher power means longer range. Unlike ordinary consumer-grade two way radio, RT86 long range two way radio boasts ultra-high power, enabling extended signal transmission and wide coverage, up to 700,000 square feet (equivalent to 10 standard football fields). Ideal for business use in large workplaces like industrial parks, warehouses, logistics centers, and campuses. Equipped with a 2.15dB high-gain antenna, it significantly boosts signal strength to power through tough obstacles like metal panels, thick concrete walls, and dense floors. It can achieve vertical coverage of 50 floors.Ensuring stable, continuous communication and clear voice in complex environments. The long antenna is constructed with a flexible, thick rubber exterior, offering strong anti-interference capabilities and durability. The 360° rotating clip helps to fix the microphone, which could achive calls conveniently without holding two way radio. The durable back clip will not break easily, clip your walkie-talkie anywhere. The K 2 pin headphone audio jack supports connecting headphones to protect call safety. The VOX function could achive calls conveniently without holding two way radio when you are busy. Press and hold the PF1/PF2 side key function definition button with VOX for 2 seconds to turn on VOX function, and repeat the operation to adjust the VOX level.Turn off VOX by hearing a beep. You can use chirp to set the function you want on the side key of RT86 walkie talkie, making custom operations easier and more convenient. Good compatibility, copy the channel and CTCSS information from one radio to another without going through a computer (RT86 only). Setting a channel lock with Chirp prevents the inconvenience of accidentally pressing the channel side button while using PTT. Channels are pre-set with 50 CTCSS and 232 DCS; which can reduce unnecessary chat and secure communication; improving communication efficiency. Why is the RT86 suitable for professional business users? Designed to meet the high demands of business users for communication equipment, RT86 delivers professional-grade performance with high power and strong signal, 16-24 hours long battery life, exceptional durability and portable for hands-free use. Can the RT86 communicate with other brands/models of two way radios? What are the necessary requirements? RT86 offers excellent compatibility. As a commercial two way radio, RT86 has a preset CTCSS/DCS for enhanced communication privacy. To be compatible with other radios, simply set up the same frequency and CTCSS/DCS on the computer. Why does the actual communication range of two way radios vary? What factors affect the actual communication effect? In dense urban environments, signals can be attenuated by building obstructions and electromagnetic interference. However, open spaces allow for greater communication distances. RT86 has a range of approximately 2.5 to over 5 miles in urban areas. What are the specific improvements of the ABS hidden screen compared to traditional LCD screens? The screen clearly shows channel and battery status for easy monitoring. Unlike ordinary LCD screen, ABS screen is shatterproof, scratch-proof, anti-glare, and anti-fog, greatly enhancing durability and visibility, ideal for long-term enterprise use. Can the RT86 be used in harsh industrial environments? RT86 features an IP54 rating, resisting dust and water splashes.RT86 can withstand multiple drops from a height of 1.5 meters and includes a rugged belt clip for secure attachment, ensuring durability in harsh industrial and weather emergencies.
