Bought these to communicate on a Cruise ship Allure of the seas. The ship was massive (17 floors) and worked well almost throughout the entire ship. Biggest issue we had was accidentally changing the channel/frequency modes without realizing that we were all no longer connected. Family purchased a pair also and we all were able to communicate wonderfully. By day 6 of the cruise we figured out the lock button so we always remained on the same channel together. HIGHLY recommend. If it wasn’t for these Talkies we would have never been able to communicate so effectively on such a gigantic ship! While in stateroom and person out in the main portion of ship we could not communicate until we got to elevator, however if we both were in stateroom we could communicate. I wouldn’t go on a cruise without it.

**after this review the shipper made things right*** I was supposed to have 2 mint I box great condition walkie talkies instead got one that was broken , had no clip for the belt and when the mic is plugged in the sound is so low you can't even hear what's coming through. It is saturday and I need a good working pair by Monday or lives could be at stake . This is ridiculous!!!!!!

I got these for my kid for Christmas as an alternative to the many, many junky kids walkie-talkies on the market. He's also into pretending to be a cop right now, so the shoulder mic is great for that. So far so good! I will update when/if they crap out. The set-up was easy, battery life seems good, I like that they are rechargeable and the range seems good for what we need. We are able to go to the park and let my kid roam a bit and still feel connected.

These are nice radios and they work very well. I've had these radios on stand-by for at least 4 days and are still going strong. Amazing endurance. We use these on a daily basis and I am a klutz and drop things all the time and they still work. Out of the probably 10 times I have ordered these only 1 came in broke and they sent me a replacement radio right away. Always online Has always been very responsive in making sure the order arrived OK and in working order.

Radios worked really well for my company the range is great very durable with a durable shoulder mic... programming was easy with cable and got all my favorite scanner codes in there as well will be busing again in the future.. The only thing is the belt clip would like to see a better clip or a different holster for the radio
