  • Effective and Easy to Use Disinfectant for Pet-Friendly Spaces
Size: 32oz Ready-to-Use (Pack of 1)
As someone who volunteers frequently at animal shelters and has fostered numerous pets, finding an effective disinfectant that is also safe around animals has always been a priority. This ready-to-use disinfectant cleaner has been a fantastic addition to our cleaning supplies, ensuring that our spaces are not only clean but also safe for every new furry friend that comes through our doors. The 32-ounce size is quite convenient, providing enough solution for repeated use without the constant need for a refill. It's very effective at eliminating odors and leaves behind a clean, fresh scent without being overwhelming—a must when you're dealing with multiple animals in a confined space. I particularly appreciate that it does not leave any sticky residue, which I've found to be a problem with other cleaners. It’s also worth noting that the spray nozzle is not included. While initially, I was a bit put off by this, it turned out to be a non-issue as I simply used a nozzle from another bottle, and it worked perfectly. This also seems to be a more eco-friendly approach, reducing plastic waste by encouraging reuse. The disinfectant works excellently in various settings, from cleaning kennels and animal crates to freshening up litter boxes. It's labeled for veterinary use, and it's evident in its effectiveness and gentleness—qualities that are vital in a cleaner used around animals. Overall, I highly recommend this disinfectant for anyone involved in pet care, especially in professional or volunteer capacities like veterinary clinics, animal shelters, and foster homes. It offers great value, effectiveness, and ease of use, all while keeping our animal companions safe and healthy. ... show more

  • Good but expensive product
Size: 1 Gallon (Pack of 1)
Very good and useful, but expensive. Easy to dilute it in proper amounts. Bonus: I disinfected my kitchen trash can with it, and it also removed the smell accumulated by the plastic! Love that. Other disinfectants couldn’t.

This disinfectant is a lifesaver. I used it to clean surfaces exposed to feline calicivirus, and it gave me complete peace of mind. It is powerful, easy to use, and effective without a harsh chemical smell. I love that it is trusted for veterinary use, making it perfect for pet owners who want a safe and reliable disinfectant. Now I’m using it to thoroughly sanitize pet areas, litter boxes, or high-risk surfaces. ... show more

  • My home is safer because of this product
Size: 1 Gallon (Pack of 1)
I have tried a lot of disinfectants in my lifetime, but this is probably the best I have ever tried. I am not a new user to this. I have just never thought to write a review. I have been using this product for about five years now and it is absolutely amazing, it just takes a small amount to kill the deadly virus Pavo and if I were to use bleach, I would have to use such a large amount that I would probably be sick from the smell eyes watering nose running and throwing up. Yes, it is a little expensive. That is a fact , but believe me you want this product in your house to get rid of just about anything there is to get rid of honestly as far as pets go. If you’ve never tried it, you will be truly amazed and make sure you don’t use more than the recommendations. ... show more

  • Purchased for Foster Cat Ringworm Issue
Size: 1 Gallon (Pack of 1)
I rescued a kitten who had severe ringworm and had to quarantine it in a bathroom in my house 3 weeks ago to keep it away from my 4 indoor cats and 1 dog to avoid spreading the ringworm. I had been using bleach every other day when I bathed her to mop the tile floors, shower walls and bathroom walls and allowing it to soak 10 minutes prior to rinsing. The odor though was a 3 hour air out (no windows, only a bathroom fan and a box fan) before I could put the kitten back in and even then, we would need to leave the door open to that bathroom with her shut in a shower enclosure over night to keep her from being sick. I found this stuff in an online search to locate something that didn't require so much air out time and would be easier on hers and my lungs both. This said it had little to no odor, required 5 minutes of stand time for ringworm fungus and required no rinsing. It has an odor, while not a bad/offensive odor, it does smell lightly. If I don't wear a chemical mask when I am working with it, I get headaches which may be due to my using too much. It doesn't require rinsing, but I do rinse after an hour because I like to speed up the odor removal. It did lessen the time required to air out though. I have it down to about 2 hours now (scrubbing walls and ceiling and all toilet/sink/shower fixtures, set for 1 hour then rinse and dry down with clean towels to put the cat back in a dry environment) and the kitten can go back in the small bathroom, but I still leave the bathroom door open for air circulation and keep the cats and dog locked in my bedroom overnight. As far as effectiveness goes, I am taking their word that it works. My vet's office uses it to wipe down their surfaces after a sick pet comes through if it is a contagion so I am guessing it works. One thing I did read in their online facts on their website is that effectiveness is based solely on proper mixing and not with guesstimates (don't "guess" you are using a 1 gallon bucket or that this plastic drink cup is equal to 8 0zs. ) it says proper measurements are key to this ResCue being effective in eradicating any of the diseases it kills. It also says "MORE IS NOT BETTER" and I think the strong odor is due to the fact that I may have been using more than recommended. So I recommend you do cup for cup measuring. ***EDIT*** I am adding that now, in December, it did effectively keep the ringworm from spreading and the vet said that due to the fact that I was diligent and cleaned after each bath, every other day, the kitten healed much quicker than expected. She has been rehomed already and is enjoying her best life as a lap kitten now. So I can say that this does work with killing ringworm. I am now going to see if it gets rid of cat urine odors on hardwood floors and Quartzite counter tops...new day, new rescue cat, new issues.... Still highly recommend! ... show more

  • Excellent Sanitizer
Size: 1 Gallon (Pack of 1)
I prefer this concentrate to the pre-made. I also have the pump for the gallon bottle which makes it easy to prepare proper concentrations. I also put Rescue in the laundry for sanitizing, both animal and human laundry I use in place of bleach and sometimes also put in the rinse (fabric softener dispenser). Can soak super smelly laundry, wash like normal, and it comes out beautifully fresh. Works well on smelly athletic wear and great for period underwear. ... show more
