  • They Do Work! Look below if you want to save yourself from frustration!
Gaskets fit my FoodSaver FM2000 perfectly. I have had this FoodSaver for years and used it on a very regular basis. I buy bulk packs of meat to save money. I then repackage them into individual meal portions. I have had this machine since it came out around 2018. I have never had a problem with it until recently. I noticed I had to press down on it to create a good vacuum. I researched and found out it was an easy and inexpensive fix by purchasing these gaskets. I had an aggravating problem, but I found the following fix. * If you are having trouble with sealing after replacing these gaskets, try this. *Take the gaskets back out. Make sure that all the channels they sit in are clean and dry. Then put the gaskets back in just in the corners. Press them in and then just gently press the long sides into place (but only with light to medium pressure. Do not push them down with a lot of force. The machine will press them, eventually, to the proper spot. Then cut a medium-sized bag off, put a piece of silverware in it, and attempt to seal it. If it doesn't complete the process correctly, open the machine and make sure your corners are in correctly and not caught on the edge. You may encounter a few failures to seal before it begins to work properly. If you press on the long sides, you can create small ripples that will take longer to self-adjust. If it still isn't working... never fear. Check the seal on the bag and see if you can see any spots that didn't seal. (I had one dot that didn't seal, and it kept vacuuming to the point it should stop and seal... but never stopped the vacuuming stage. I couldn't see the spot, so I put another seal below it, and it was perfect, and the machine has worked flawlessly since. It just may take a few tries... don't give up. I know this review was kind of long... but I just wanted anyone who purchased these seals not to have to go through what I did. They do fit these models. Hope this helps! ... show more
