This is a perfect replacement/extra battery for the JBL Partybox 120. This battery fits into the speaker just like the original and powers the speaker up right away. It has the same type of orange pull-tab to aid in removing it and the construction and weight appear to be the same as the OEM one. A big added plus is that it has a USB-C charging port built right into it -- which the original battery does not have. This provides the added convenience of charging this battery and the OEM one (which has to be inserted into the speaker to charge) at the same time. The battery life for this should be similar to the original as the technical specifications appear to be the same. I was able to bring this battery to full charge in a couple of hours; which is the basically the same amount of charging time as the original.

This battery came partially charged and it fully charged in a short amount of time. This battery also has a USB-C charging port on it, so with the included cable you can charge it without it being installed in a Partybox. Speaking of that this battery will work on the Partybox 120 and the newly released Partybox Encore 2. It works like a charm in my Encore 2 and seems to last as long as the battery that came with the speaker.

Backup battery for JBL Partybox 120 just as good as the original. This battery is exactly the same size and fits just like the OEM. Switching it out is a breeze, takes just a few seconds, and can give you the same battery life as the JBL one. Can be charged outside of the speaker via the USB C port. Has the same nylon pull tab as the original which makes it super easy to pull out of the speaker and wont tear like the flimsy plastic ones on some of the other aftermarket ones. The things I don’t like are that it doesn’t have a battery indicator like some other aftermarket ones do, and the USB charging cable it comes with is absolute garbage. It was giving me an issue with getting stuck in the port. I used a different USB charging cable and had no issue. It did not come charged and it took about 2.5 hours to fully charge.
