  • RLC-510A Compatible with Lorex LNR110 series!
Color: White
I disliked that you had to use the app to get ONVIF to work - BUT I did like how clean the APP was and well as organized (UI was very straight forward). For those who are looking for an alternative to the Lorex Cameras, this one will work, however, do keep in mind that there is a slight delay for the picture to come up on your Lorex App when you have this plugged into your Lorex POE NVR. But before you do so, you have to remember - Download the Phone App to control your Reolink Camera. Plug your Reolink Camera into your NVR/DVR (for non REOLINK that support ONVIF). Once your Camera is powered on, and if your phone in on the same wifi network, it should detect the camera and you can add that camera to your phone app and 'register' that camera. It should be working. Once you do that, you can then go see which IP address the camera is getting (after you set your 6 character password, etc...). Then you can pop open a laptop internet browser and put in the IP address of that Reolink camera you have plugged into your NVR (don't try to assign the IP from the NVR - as that will not work until you register and get the camera online and put a password in etc...). Login with whatever credentials you created for your camera. Go find the ONVIF setting and turn it on. Make whatever changes you would like. Go back to your NVR and look for the camera and then add it. I may have glossed over some steps, but they key is to use the app/then log into the camera to enable the ONVIF since it is not enabled by default. I downloaded the ONVIF device manager from reolink and that wasn't necessary (it can see my Lorex cameras though lol). Just a quick snipit of info for anyone that is looking at spending less than half of the cost of a similar Lorex Camera. Quality wise pretty similar (I looked at the MP/Resolution/FPS/CMOS sensor size and picked one that was similar to the Lorex Camera I had). If you have a POE LNR110 series or similar NVR that supports 4MP (this camera was a 5MP) Lorex Bullet Cameras with IR - you can use this to replace as long as its ONVIF compliant. ... show more

  • Good camera for the price
Color: Black
Great motion detection, detects people from at least 100 feet away. The problem is, pass 30 or 40 feet the facial recognition is not clear. I mostly use the camera as a deterrent. Fairly easy to install. Spend $25 and buy a Junction Box, also buy a 1 1/4 inch HOLE SAW to drill through your houses wall. I used Milwaukee Hole Dozer from home depot. You will need to drill a hole that big because the screw on the back of the junction box has to fit into the hole. I know that's scary but take your time and if you need help, watch you tube. That hole will be big enough. Take your time. Also, Use the little rubber seal that comes with the package. Jam it up it here. It will keep the water out Also if you need to replace the camera in the future, all you will need to do is open the junction box and simply unplug the POE camera and plug in the new one. Took me 4 hours and I didn't know what I was doing. Be careful with your ladders. Hope this helps!!! ... show more

  • Great Budget Starter Cameras
Color: White
I've wanted to review these for a long time. I did a lot of research on PoE (power over ethernet) cameras that are compatible with Synology NAS (network attached storage) devices, and these came up consistently in the top of just about everyone's budget camera list, and even in the top 10 on a list of cameras overall. While these cameras can be used as standalone cameras since they accept microSD cards for internal video clip storage, most people I've looked at used a Synology NAS to store their video. These cameras are 5 megapixel, which is a good resolution for many applications, and is higher than 1080 HD. 1080p HD is 1920 x 1080, while 5 megapixel is 2592 x 1944. This resolution is good enough to get very detailed stills and video, even being able to catch detailed license place numbers on passing cars, depending on the speed they're traveling. Where Reolink really shines are two VERY important areas: software and app support, and customer service. Reolink has computer software that runs on all platforms, with installers for Windows, Mac, IOS, and Android, and Linux/BSD support is available via fully-supported Browser intergrations. I've tested both the Windows software and the IOS app, and they both worked flawlessly. You can receive motion alerts via the software if a camera detects motion. These smart alerts can be tailored to say if a person was detected, or a vehicle. The individual cameras' detection zone can also be customized, so that a tree in the view of the camera won't trip the motion detection if the wind is blowing. That section of the view can be excluded. Very cool. The other area where Reolink shines is their customer service and support. I have had several email conversations with them, even prior to making any purchases. While I haven't had to reach out to them for technical support due to an issue, I've read plenty of others' reviews where they have, and Reolink is very attentive and helpful. Based on my pre-purchase experience, I can't imagine anything different. For the purchase price of around $50USD, these cameras are a fantastic value. You can splurge a bit and go up to around $80 to get the 4k/8 megapixel version, but for most uses, this is overkill. Reolink also makes a similar camera that instead of having a fixed zoom, has an optical zoom, making it ideal for areas that you want to zoom into, such as down a long driveway. Depending on model, there's a 3x or 4x optical zoom, which run anywhere from just over $100, to nearly $200, depending on features. ... show more

It is much more better than expected. Photo quality is a little blurry. No sharp images.
