I feel like these only work for very small areas..a small closet, maybe a small bathroom. In a 8x12 room you won't smell it unless you're within 6 inches of it. Imo and that goes for any brand of this style of air freshener. I do not smoke so my sniffer works.. I do buy these for closets or to keep next to the stinky ashtrays for guests, kitty litter etc. But they imo don't work to freshen the air in an entire room. When I first looked at this product I saw a few reviews that said the the smell wasn't strong enough. I ordered it anyway. Must say I disagree, the smell is fine. I bought this to put near the spots where pets are most of the time. You don't want it to be crazy strong with your pets there to smell it (hypersensitive nose people). A scent to strong may irritate your pet. I wanted a odor neutralizer not a strong air freshener so for that purpose it works great. My pets don't stink (Its not meant to freshen your stinky pet, lol), I bought it to put around their cage area, the dirty pet blanket basket, and their pillow areas. Let's be real for a second. Bathrooms stink. Maybe thats just mine, idk. But when you can walk in after 30 minutes and smell the funk left by the previous occupant, they need to see a doctor and you need some air freshener. I have asthma so aerosols are out. They make me wheeze and cough. I buy alot of these gel cones instead. I would have given this one 5 stars but the dang things have become almost impossible to open. I had to resort to using a butter knife!! The scent is nice, not floral heavy, and works in my tiny bathroom without taking up a ton of real estate. I dislike the smell it’s to strong I wasn’t expecting for it to be like that I hope that they come out with a different smell that’s not to strong.

I purchased this item for two reasons: first, I wanted my room to smell lovely, and second, it was quite inexpensive. I really liked the scent, and it lingered even when I ate in my room, which I do occasionally. My only complaint is that the product doesn't last very long, but considering it didn't cost me a penny, I believe it's OK. I'd buy it again and store it in the guest bathroom so that I'll only use it when I have visitors and it would last longer. ... show more
