Really punchy! I will upgrade to brushless for more speed and power, but it is reasonably fast for a brushed vehicle out of the box. I may get another at this price ($99)

The media could not be loaded. $12 oil shocks 110mm $23 esc 550 12t motor combo This car is now a BEAST Also put some cheap tires I had laying around on. I fried the factory esc running 3s for way too long. Motor was still good but it was so easy to change 6 screws 1 bracket took 5 min. I took the batteries out of cheap plastic case they come in easier to fit two at same time. Have run 12-15 packs so far, brushed motor ears up batteries and still gets hot on 3s but super good basher. If you can get on sale for around $90 this truck has been very fun so far.

This is a great truck for the price. At top speed it goes at about 15 mph. It comes with 2 batteries and 2 cable chargers. My girl has a lot of fun with the truck at the park where she drives at the top speed on the concrete walkways.

I love how sturdy and well built this RC car is made. I wanted something that would stand up to the use of a child and adult alike and this did that and more. It even has working headlights! I like the balance between battery life and weight. meaning it last for long enough to have fun with while being able to use the weight in the strong metal frame which make it feel like this will last the rough and tumbles a RC car goes through. Its a good size being 1/12 scale and ran well on my local parks grass terrain. This car has some speed to it too, it is lots of fun to play with. I actually think I am going to make this a black furry cover with legs and with red plastic over the headlights to make it a crawling spider for Halloween. If you are looking for a well made RC that will stand up to what a child can throw at it then Id recommend this.

This truck is definitely not waterproof. I ran it one time, and only for a few minutes before it hit a shallow puddle and died. Hense the 1 star rating. I have not had time to see if it will even run again after it dried. I will update my review once I see what happens. Update, I finally had a chance to charge a battery and it did power on and run in my apartment so that's a plus. Not sure how it will run once I go back to my testing site based on other reviews I've seen. I will try to update if I get there and actually get it to run a full battery length. Final edit. I'm returning it. I tried but it's just not worth it. Last run had both batteries charged. First battery it ran fine. I was very careful not to get it wet. Second battery also ran fine until I misjudged and hit a puddle. It died. The battery set up is the problem. Any amount of water gets in there, no matter how small, will end up hitting the contacts connecting the battery and the truck, then it's game over until it dries. I have other cars that run just as well or better that can take a puddle that goes over half the vehicle and they keep going no problem. Save your money and your time and get something else.

I got this cause I'm a experienced hobbyist. As soon as I saw this RC, I knew it had potential to be better with: hobby grade electronics, modifications, and accessories. So I did just that: I upgraded electionics, and shocks, modified the wheels as well. I added a scale driver holding steering wheel with left hand and right hand holding a CB radio mic. I also cut out the front side windows for better view of driver holding the steering wheel & mic. I also added all the scratch built accessory yo see, even the winch. I'd say this RC now passes as a 95% to 100% hobby grade with articulation as a crawler, when it was stock it was thumbs down lousy. This RC is awesome now, and I recommend it to a hobbyist that's like me.
