I have never used anything else. I am only getting another one as my girlfriend likes it way better than her women's trimmer and I like her using it also. The closest shave she has ever had...positively silky. I do not understand why mine works so long but I think I got one with an great battery/charging system and I use Williams electric shave directly on the head of the trimmer just prior to use every time. A few drops does the job well and it lasts for days. That's how my girlfriend tried it. She found it after I used it 2 days prior and tried it in very personal areas on her and she loved it. Darn, now I have to get her one. Weighing the cost vs benefits to me for her being so silky, last night with my Girlfriend, was wonderful...like 3-4 days after a Brazilian wax job she was going to get. I can say no more here except I felt spoiled by her and WOW. I hope all that buy this will have the same experiance. Odds are they will not. Return it and get another one if you are not completely satisfied. BTW, I can not get this to even nick my "man sack" no matter how hard I try. I find this incredible but true for me and I have tried Norelco, as well as others for a total of around 4 different brands in the past. ... show more

I purchased this same groomer in 2016 and it worked great. It lasted 7 years and only had to be replaced due to me dropping it. Since it lasted so long and was a good product, I decided to repurchase the same model. I'm bot sure what changed but every time that I use this groomer, it cuts me, nicks me and leaves red marks all over. For a while I thought it was maybe due to it being new and need to be "broken in", but I've had it 4+ months now and it has not gotten any better. ... show more

This is one of the best bodygroomers I have used and I was able to buy it for around $25. It cuts well, and cuts close to the surface of the skin, and doesn't pull hairs or cut skin.

    • Great body trimmer, just take your time!
This trimmer gets a bad rap on here! I've bought about one every year for the last 4 years and they work great to trim my hairy chest, stomach and back (about once a week). Sure after a few months you have to slow down as the blades dull but I find this much better than the basic norelco body groomer, which dulled much faster, tended to have the replacement blades overpriced and falling out anyways (and it was great at blood letting my collarbones). I keep two of these now, the dulled one for the nether regions I don't want to accidentally cut, and the other for the rest of my body. This is a nice replica of Philips body groomer. I bought it to replace my Philips body groomer, which did the job very efficiently. I would give Philips 5 stars but I had to take off one star for durability. This body groomer doesn't do as good job as Philips and that is why it is cheaper. If you want a better version of this product then spend 10 bucks more and buy Philips. I have already used this so I won't be returning it. ... show more

Great tough little shaver, and holds a charge like you wouldn't believe! Have used this product for everything from shaving hair for wound dressings, to doing my own legs. (Ladies, I love this one!)
