Looks great but odd sizing

I’m 5’0” and 123lbs. I bought both the S and M in this skirt and ended up returning the small. Both technically fit BUT the skirt is kind of straight and does not have the required darts/tucks to create a narrower waist and natural wider hip. This means that the size Small waist fit perfectly but was too form fitting in the hips/thighs. The size Medium fit perfectly in the hips/thighs and looks more professional for business wear but the waist was way too big. But that’s an easy sewing fix with some darts... I removed 3in and now the size M fits perfectly. This sounds like a lot of work but the skirt is otherwise extremely flattering and the first skirt that I’ve tried that is the perfect length for petite people. By simply taking in the waist, you don’t have to compromise on the rest of the fit. If you’re looking for a tighter, form fitting skirt, then the S would have been perfect. But I recommend the M with some minor tailoring if you’re looking for business wear. Hopefully this detail helps others on the border between sizes!

Just fine for the price point

Read the reviews and the size chart and I'm pleased that I got the right size. Size 18, bordering on a 20, and I got an XXL. The skirt looks nice. It does have some stretch to it, and you can adjust the length by pulling up or down or rolling over the waist band. For me, at 5' 0", it hit at exactly my knee and I was looking for something more mid-thigh, or at least above the knee, so I'll definitely be playing with methods to shorten it. (I don't know if I'm ready to try hemming it.) In that capacity, I wish it had just a little more stretch. Also, my first impression after opening up the packaging was that the material felt like a curtain, but it felt fine once I had it on. Overall, I like the $28 skirt I tried on at Kohls just a little bit better, but I'm willing to save the $10 and go with this, cause it's still a nice skirt.

Rekucci black skirt

Nice material. Thick and stretchy. Not sheer at all. It's hard for me to find a skirt at the right length. This was just a tad too short so I went with another brand that was slightly longer. It's very hard to tell where it's going to fall on yourself by looking at a model. This skirt is about 18 1/2 inches long from the top of the waistband. For my height, 5'1" it was definitely not as short as the photo shows but a bit shorter than I wanted. Otherwise great skirt. Highly recommend. Nice quality.

NICE dark COLOR!!

Nice stretch, comfy, no see thru. Pencil cut is flattering for 🍎 apple shapes I have a ton of these in different colors! However it misses one important element for me.. POCKETS!! Deep enough to hold LARGE CELL phone Side( hidden) POCKETS are the best!! One for keys, one for cell would make this PERFECT! Amzn Pls find more pencil skirts/ skorts with POCKETS DEEP enough to hold large cell phone and CARGO Styles with study metal SNAP closure pockets Thanks!!

Not good quality

I was disappointed in the quality. The waistband had a mark on it when I received it. It looked like they took an iron to it. I washed it and the waist band had no shape after. I have several skirts by this brand in other colors in the past and not had a problem. Another issue was I bought an XS and I compared it to one of my other same brand skirts and it is definitely wider and a tad bit longer. The material reminder me of material from 1980's.
