Don’t hesitate! Buy these shoes! I have two pairs, the navy and the gold, and while they are on sale I plan to snap up a few more colors. They fit true-to-size, although, as some other reviews have already mentioned, they are a bit loose around the ankle which I combat by wrapping the laces tightly twice around and then tying in the front in a bow. They are comfortable enough to walk around in as a tourist, on vacation, running errands, etc and I get compliments every time I wear them. I have worn them with shorts, jeans, casual sundresses and more formal dresses and they work for all occasions. The material on the navy pair is more of a fabric, while the gold pair feels more like a faux leather, including the laces, making the gold pair a bit sturdier in my opinion.

Two years in
I’ve owned a red pair of these for two years and I’m still happy with them. I don’t wear them a lot, maybe once a month, but when I have, they’re comfortable all day, at work. I have, and would, not pick these to wear if I know I’m going to do a lot of walking. I rate them high for style and comfort in an indoor setting.

Toe strap too big
I’m a true size 10 but my toe box isn’t wide. I ordered a 9.5 and the length was perfect unfortunately the toe strap was too wide. If a person has fat feet these will fit. The ties are long enough to wrap at least 3 times. I don’t have thick ankles. The fabric is decent and the color is like a denim color and it’s pretty. The sole is thin w no arch support and is kind of flexible. Good value for the money if they fit. The sole is okay and I can’t say how durable they are .

I love these! I figured out that they feel more secure when tied, if you criss cross the ties behind your heel first and then wrap them around your ankle as usual. I have wide feet and these feel comfortable and don’t pinch. I definitely need these in more colors!

Ankle straps are too short

I have skinny ankles, and have ordered shoes like this from another seller previously, and the ankle straps are much too short to tie a gladiator tie or even bow around the ankles. I even ordered a replacement thinking I just got a defective pair, but same thing. Believe the other negative reviews. Those that were blessed with longer ankle straps are lucky. I’ll gladly spend more on a better brand.
