Being disabled, with mobility issues, I knew that I could do this, however, I didn't know how long it would take me. Of course, I was in a Fibromyalgia flare, so I was in a lot of pain and my lack of energy required that I took a lot of breaks, but I put these together in 3 hours. I would estimate that a healthier former version of myself could have accomplished the build in less than half of the time. The shelves are incredibly sturdy and look great in my bedroom. Having ADHD, being able to see my clothes on the shelf keeps me from buying unnecessary clothing, because I forget things inside of dresser drawers. May buy another set for my living room too. When I bought these I [foolishly] had arrived at an assumption based on the indicated maximum shelf storage weights listed. After assembling these cabinets I am extremely dubious with regards to the shelf capacity/storage max weight figures, and I am tempted to film an experiment testing their assertions (and if I find the time to do something so whimsically inconsequential and infinitely distant from the bottom of my to-do list, I will absolutely upload the results, no matter the outcome. Well, ... unless the shelves fail and I am trapped under the crushing force of steel weights and concrete cinder blocks equivalent to the advertised maximum weight. And I want to say it seemed like a lot, LOL). Anyway, if you are looking for cheap (economical), flimsy, and unstable, and you never plan to shelve anything of consequence, or value on them, then they might just be for you. I just wouldn't push it on their weight limits and I wouldn't place anything down-cabinet from these if you have them close to maxed out. ... show more

Easy to assemble for me, nice little shelve. Not as strong holding heavy things. It’s very light sheet metal. 1,160 Lbs on this would crumble into pieces. With about 5 gallon of liquid it’s already tearing.

I was looking for storage shelving that would fit in a small corner I have near my door, and this fit the bill while also being reasonably inexpensive compared to similar products. Assembly was fine, you need to put some hex screws but it's not a big deal. It is all steel, though certainly thin steel. I was skeptical of the rated weight capacity but figured since I'm going to be loading it with much less than the claimed 1160lbs I should be fine - and I am *for the most part*. Under sufficient load (but still well under the rated per-shelf load) there is some downward bowing effect. It is NOT to the point I'm worried about structural failure, but it is enough to not give me a flat surface. There is also strong outward bowing of the X cross-bracing slats that install in the back. That takes it down to 4 of 5 stars for me. Overall, I'm fine with it. I don't think I'd trust using it above 1/2 to *maaaaybe* 2/3rds of the total claimed load though. If you're going to put ~100lbs per shelf or less you should be fine. ... show more
