A lot of homeless people stop at library to rest, find safety from weather, or use the facilities, and these pads disappear quickly. These were purchased for distribution at our local food pantry. While I cannot say how thick the maxi pads actually are or how the quality is, I can say that they were right for us to re-package for our patrons. They are individually wrapped (a must!). We bag 10 together with 4 tampons and offer these bags to the women who come for food. Buying this item in bulk allows us to help more people, and I recommend the purchase to anyone who is donating to food banks. Many, like ours, get a small grant for food only, and feminine hygiene products are badly needed.
