This is a wonderful dress for an excellent price. I’m going to be wearing it to a garden picnic that somehow got turned into a dress up event! The fabric is soft and sturdy, but the white is a bit see through. Nothing terrible, but you may want some kind of long slip. The arms were not too tight at all. They have elastic around them. For reference, I am 5’9, size 14, about 205 pounds, and 38D chest, wide hips. I ordered an XL and an XXL. I wasn’t sure if they would be Asian sizes. I have included two pics. The first is the XL. It totally fits in all places...but it was a bit short for my liking. The XXL was a bigger up top, but it had more fabric and was longer. I decided to keep the XXL because of the extra material and length. The top is a bit big, but I can pin it. If you are 5’8 or shorter, the length shouldn’t be an issue. Very cute. Perfect outfit for a school project. My granddaughter as Dolly Madison, and she looked adorable in this dress. We added long white gloves to complete the look. I did have to adjust the top as it was too loose, I have a sewing machine so was able to do that. The length was perfect

Nice color and great length but I was dissatisfied with the weight of the dress and comfort of dress. It’s very loose in the shoulders, small in the chest area and extra small on the arms. I couldn’t wear it because the elastic squeezed my arm. It’s possible to get the puff sleeves without elastic. It wasn’t worth the price to suffer the discomfort. As a costume it would be ok for some but I wanted to wear to a Bridgerton concert and it didn’t give royalty at all. The ribbon didn’t stay in place either. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’m 4’11’ #107 32C and I loved the lightweight fabric, it was very cute. The wrinkles came out quickly and easily with the iron, the navy blue color was accurate and the price was very reasonable. Unfortunately, I needed an extra small or kids x large size as the top kept slipping off my shoulders. I suppose if I would’ve had more time, I could’ve sewed it, but the event was today. Also, after ironing the dress, it seems to have added at least another inch or two to the length. With my 3 inch heels (not appropriate for event) I was still having to kick fabric out in front of me. Just a heads up that I also bought gloves from another vendor, but they kept sliding down so I think the best option would be elastic at the top. ... show more

Bought this dress as an experiment to see if i liked the style. It makes a good nightgown. Definitely should have bought a size down as the 2x is a bit bigger on me. That's what I'd normally get as I currently weigh 200 pounds and am 5'3. Definitely go a size down. The material is loose so it won't constrict you. Definitely big in the chest area. ... show more

One of the sleeves was sewn on upside down, rendering the item completely unwearable. I know a lot of people are confused about the seam but the buttons are supposed to be in the back. This, however, isn’t confusing. One sleeve was sewn on correctly and the other was sewn on upside down.

This dress definitely had a strong smell when I first unwrapped it, and was very wrinkled. The wrinkles came out quickly with the use of a handheld steamer, and the smell also disappeared quickly. Honestly, great value for the price. This dress is comfortable and cute, albeit a bit plain and simple.
