The media could not be loaded. Guilty for buying paper towels but these bring me peace of mind. They are super absorbing and plastic free made from 100% recycled fiber. Only downside they are a bit pricey

Tried these because I love their toilet paper: durable absorbent and soft enough while being sustainably sourced. Except for the sustainable part, which I definitely appreciate, their paper towels are none of these. they're relatively thin, and frequently don't tear evenly. They're OK, but definitely not up to what I'd expect at such a premium price.

This review of for Reel bamboo. First thing I did when I got these was compare to Caboo brand bamboo paper towel (my prior bamboo paper towel purchase). Reels has a softer feel, Caboo is very dense and stiff. I repeatedly added small, measured amounts of water to an equivalent size piece of each until the water started flowing beyond the boundaries of the paper towel. Reels won. Then I tried to use these saturated pieces. Caboo was already disintegrating when I tried to pick it up, it was essentially useless. Reels I was able to ring out and reuse over and over again with no hint of it falling apart. I actually used the Reel to clean up the mess I made.

As an avid cook, I love using these paper towels in the kitchen, for absorbing grease from pans, cleaning up after meat products and cleaning my windows and mirrors. These are high quality paper towels made from fast growing Bamboo as opposed to old growth trees. I recommend them highly. The price is steeper than I would like, BUT I fundamentally value the effort towards sustainable forestry and providing a PLASTIC-FREE product. I encourage more people to consider this product for the sustainability factor primarily, but also because eventually a demand and use for such products, will drop the the price --- a much needed component of sustainability----affordadble for all!
