The "choose-a-sheet" feature is an absolute must-have because you don't always need a giant towel for a small spill, which really helps the rolls last a lot longer. Overall they’re a pretty decent deal for the money, but overall I think the quality of them is lacking a bit. They are fairly thin and a bit rough but, you do get A LOT of rolls for the price. These paper towels are better for the price. They don't hold up quite as well as Bounty, but for this price, these are my new choice. I've tried other brands, and these seem to be second best. I use them mainly for things like cleaning, so I can throw them away after. We use them for napkins as well. After I use them as a napkin, if they aren't messed up too bad, I wipe the dirty stove off before actually cleaning it. Then use fresh ones to actually clean it. They are lint free. It takes less of these in comparison to some of the other brands so less waste. They are soft enough for what we use them for. ... show more

These Scott paper towels are very absorbent and strong. They work great for everyday cleaning, spills, and kitchen messes. The rolls last a good amount of time, and I’m very satisfied with the quality. Great value for the pack. I would definitely recommend them!

    • There Was a Spill. Now There Wasn't.

There was a spill. I cleaned it. The first sheet absorbed most of the liquid. I folded it inward so the stain was no longer visible and wiped the remaining area. There was still some residue along the edge. Second sheet. Gone. I checked the counter from several angles under direct light. Nothing. Then I noticed three droplets on the floor. That was disappointing. Third sheet. One pass over each droplet. Then a wider pass around the surrounding area because visible stains are rarely the entire problem. Clean. I checked the cabinet. One small spot near the handle. Fourth sheet. At this point the kitchen looked normal again. That's the objective. Not cleaner. Not spotless. Normal. A clean room attracts attention when people remember it being dirty. You don't want attention. You want someone to walk in, make a sandwich, and never wonder why the countertop was recently wiped with such unusual precision. The used sheets went into the trash. I replaced the liner. Then I wiped the trash can lid because apparently I had touched it during cleanup. Another sheet. The paper towels performed well. Strong when wet. Absorbent. Easy to tear into smaller sections when the entire sheet would be unnecessary. No streaks. No residue. No evidence that there had ever been a spill. I stood in the kitchen for another minute. There was nothing left to clean. That's when I finally relaxed. Five stars. I don't need my paper towels to ask what happened. I need them to make it look like nothing did. ... show more
