Really like the whole set (I bought the tv console, end table, and coffee table). Nice quality. All 3 feel sturdy. Easy to assemble by myself for the most part. The top piece of the coffee table was cracked during shipping, but customer service was great. Very responsive and resolved the issue very quickly.

The pre drilled holes aren't all there... Impossible to put together without trying to figure out where to drill your own holes. Already threw away the box...ugh *Update* Bought a drill, measured where the holes should be and quickly realized the holes where covered by the finish which I could punch through with a screw driver, once located. I needed a second pair of hands to attach the table top. But it finally got finished. Thank goodness, since returning it wasn't an option. The table is very sturdy and way bigger than pictures seem to capture. It is a bit rough to extend the table top out... But sturdy once out and closing it is easy. I have the matching fire place/TV stand... And I feel now they were a good buy.

This was the first piece I purchased in this collection, and will definitely be buying most all of the set. The look and style of this coffee table and the rest of the collection is amazing. The only reason I give it 4 stars is I do wish for a couple tweaks. It is not double sided so one side will always be less attractive than the other. I do have this less pretty sode facing the couch, so that is fine. However, because I have the back facing the couch the extending table top goes out away from the couch. I wish there was a way to assemble the table where you could have it extend the table too in either direction based upon how you planned to arrange the piece in the room. Other than that though it is an amazingly sturdy table that looks great and was easy to build. Now just have to figure out what all I want to use all the storage space it has for. Can't recommend this set enough.

Nice looking coffee table overall, but a few things were disappointing. The back has black plastic pieces that really stick out against the light wood color and look out of place. Unfortunately you can’t just flip the table around to hide them because the lift-top only opens one direction toward the couch, so the back side has to face outward. I also noticed what looks like a paint or stain mark on the tabletop right after assembly, which was frustrating since this was brand new. I hired someone to put it together and it took about 3 hours — the process seemed more difficult than expected. The hydraulic hinges are a nice feature and keep the top from slamming down, but the lift-top itself feels a bit flimsy when opening and closing and has some side-to-side movement. Overall it looks nice from a distance and functions okay, but the finish details and sturdiness could definitely be better.
