These have been my dream show for a very long time. I finally gave in and bought them. After reading all the reviews I ordered an 8. Every boot I own with the exception of dansko are all size 8. Sadly these were a whole size larger. The arch support felt tough for me possibly due to wrong size. The leather was stunning and the craftsmanship amazing quality. They are more of an almond toe than a square toe. I have a little bit of a wider foot so these for just a bit snug across the widest part of my foot. ... show more

I grew up in Minnesota and have family that live in Red Wing. My Grandfather and my Father both had these boots so I'm a third generation Red Wing boot owner. They are so comfortable and sturdy and you can wear them for working or hiking or just an urban adventure. Be sure to try a pair on in a store somewhere, to get a good fit. Finally made the decision about purchasing these boots. I was really excited until I started to notice some defects around the boot. Most noticeable is the height difference of the pair side by side. I understand handmade boots but these ones got past the quality control. The seller has been awful, they said the height difference was due to wear.
