All sets come with 1 flat sheet, 1 deep set 16 inch fitted sheet, and 2 pillowcases. Split King sets come with 2 twin XL fitted sheets.

- CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Everything is handcut and sewn meaning each product is machine washable & dryable. Some ask if our 140 thread count is inferrior. To that we say, not at all! Our linens are exact replicas of our 1920's inspiration bedding. We only use our finest long staple cotton to weave a substantial single-ply yarn. The combination of our thread count, our cotton, and our yarn size make a luxuriously soft fabric that is also breathable.
- THE NATURAL DIFFERENCE: Our "Natural" fabric is the natural color of our cotton and varies year to year depending on the amount of water and sunlight the open cotton receives during harvest. You'll also see flecks of the leaves and stems from the cotton plant woven into the natural fabric. Many customers with sensitive skin enjoy our natural fabric because we don't use bleach or dyes.

I wanted a pair of sheets that were like the ones I grew up having: Weighty, durable, American made. These fit the bill. They are substantial and wonderful to touch. I washed them several times before using. They are not as buttery soft and smooth as the high thread count sheets, but one might call those sheets "flimsy" too. These are great. The fabric is solid and the weave is tight and smooth. They feel great. The cut is generous. I bought queen size at 14" depth for my Tempur-Pedic mattress which has a standard quilted mattress cover and the fitted sheet fit with ample room to spare. The elastic all around the fitted sheet is a nice plus. The pillowcases and top sheet are also generously sized. Delighted with these high quality sheets. And delighted that they are made from Alabama cotton and manufactured in the US. When I buy another set, it will be Red Land Sheets.

This is an initial impression review of these sheets. I just received them, washed them and slept on them one night. First, they are VERY heavy, much heavier than the typical sheets around today. Second, there was a good amount of lint in the dryer filter and I emptied it three times; expected for new fabrics. Third, they had very, very few wrinkles and these relaxed as I put them on the bed. Some others have commented on an odor; however, I did not notice one. Yes, there is a slight smell right out of the package. After one wash the only thing I smell is the faint odor of my fabric softener. These are very expensive when compared to imports. I like the idea of buying AMERICAN and am willing to pay more to support American farmers, American processing and American finishing. UPDATE: After several washings, these sheets remain the same as in the beginning. They do not wrinkle excessively and fit the bed as they should. I am very happy with these sheets. SECOND UPDATE: After two years, these remain the best sheets I have purchased. They look and feel new, just somewhat softer that when new.

Returned these. Ordered King size, and the package was marked King. But the sheets after I washed them I noticed were Queen sized and did not fit. Tested them on a queen size bed and they fit that one perfectly. They say chemical free on Amazon but not on the package, and they do not say pesticide free at all. They weren't all that comfortable for me because they had a smell I could not get used to. Even after I washed and rinsed them twice. Recommend that the company put "pesticide free" and "chemical free" on the package if they are.
