    • Great darts that are an excellent value
The Red Dragon razor edge original darts have a classic ring grip which has moderate grip. Not an aggressive grip and not a smooth grip but a grip that is easy to control and release. The quality is excellent and the consistency of weight has been precise. I have two sets of these darts in 23 gram weight. Two sets in 24 gram weight and 2 sets in 26 gram weight. All three darts in every set are within one tenth of a gram in weight. This level of quality control in a dart set costing between $28 and $36 is incredible. They throw well for me with the supplied plastic shafts. The shafts hold up fairly well but eventually break and need to be replaced. Replacing a broken plastic shaft is a simple task. Personally, I don’t use the folded type of plastic flights that these darts are supplied with but have tested thrown them and they are of similar quality of all other types of folded flights that I have used in the past. The darts wear well and over time The grip friction will diminish but this happens with all tungsten darts regardless of initial grip friction. You will barely notice the wear unless you compare your worn darts with a set of new darts. These darts are a great value. They throw as well as darts that I’ve paid $95-$140 for. I recently started playing darts and this is my 3rd set I have ordered from Amazon. All seemed like quality darts but these have improved my game a lot. They are very thin and I have really enjoyed that. The flight path has to no wobble to it which has improved my accuracy. I wish this was the first set I purchased.
